Special note for downloaders willing or wanting to bugtest: Thanks for your help! This new version adds back the vehicles and draught system seen in the pre-1.3 versions of the mod. That being said, bugtesting efforts should be concentrating on those things. The experimental multiple-passenger system for the vehicles also require two players to test at time- specifically for glitchiness of the other player while riding with you. By all means look into anything else that catches your eye. Per usual, if something seems off in general, or you have ideas on how to fix or improve any bit of this new release, let me know! Again, thanks for helping me develop this mod ^^.

The way of hitching horses and wagons has changed from the original. Check the instructions in the first post.
(Experimental) two players can ride the same vehicle
(Experimental) animals can be made to ride the cart and wagon.
New model and inventory for Wagon. Each chest on the wagon corresponds to a 54-slot inventory. Right click a chest to access one.
Lasso:
Fixed issues with lassos and reloads. Lasso-reloading no-longer needs to be turned on via the config file, but can be turned off.
Wild Horses:
Another fix for wild horse spawning issues before trying the new biome...
Wild Horses now do damage when they kick! Careful!

I haven't been keeping up with this mod in a while, but it sure looks like it's coming along! I love the new look on the OP, the images make it a lot simpler to follow, at least for me.
I'm excited to add it when I get my new computer going Quick question, though, has anyone tested this with Mo' Creatures, Chococraft and MCA? Those are my main mods, and I'd hate to lose them.
On the topic of spawning, I know that the developers of Mo' Creatures have at least a few biome-specific species, perhaps you could talk to them? I wouldn't mind seeing Clydesdales in extreme hills & taiga, Mustangs in extreme hills and plains and Arabians could be limited to plains for rarity reasons.
I apologize if I've repeated something, but I didn't notice anything too similar in the last couple pages.

@Zigadooz, it's coming along, if slowly ^^. Glad the OP works for ya; it was the main reason I changed it up. As for compatibility, Simply Horses alters no base classes thanks to Forge, so (barring ID conflicts) it should work with them. Let us know if there -are- any conflicts, though. And, for the most part, Mo' Creatures uses a different spawning system than the typical measures provided by Forge.

Thanks to both of you! All of my mod installation is on hold until I set up my new computer at my new house, but as soon as everything is up and running I'll check the other compatibilities myself. I'm going to have such massive ranches with all the different mount creatures between Simply Horses, Mo' Creatures and Chococraft! The builder in me is excited
On a side note, is there a labeled template for the horse models & vehicle models? I've got access to the photoshop mac-labs at my college this semester and I'd love to make a 128x texture pack for them! The problem is that I'm bad a deciphering flattened out models. ^^'

Clydesdales pushing carts is a bug/feature (It's funny, admit it) that happens when you attach the cart to the whippletree, instead of the whippletree to the cart (Or maybe its the other way around, not sure.
A few other things
- I tried to hitch one horse into the cart and he ended up standing on it, which wasn't so bad but the only was I could get him off was to destroy the cart.
- If your horses die while working you can still steer and drive your cart with only the whippletree appearing to power it. You can keep this going until you unhitch it

@redmcginny, glad you figured it out. Anyhoo, single Clydesdales are not yet coded to pull carts (as opposed to two Clydesdales per whippletree), but this feature will be available in the next release.

Also I too stumbled upon the "Clydesdales pushing carts bug" before release. It happens when you lasso the whippletree and attach it to a vehicle. I left it in because it looks silly and doesn't really harm gameplay =P.

I've got a potential bug: I've got mo creatures with the new elephants, and i wanted to try something so i had an elephant and while i was waiting for it to grow up, i was messing with the carts (i can't figure out how to hitch them properly, and when i did i couldn't move even though i was set as the driver) While looking for an Elephant Harness, the name showed up as "Draught Harness" even though it had the elephant harness icon. I tried relogging, but Minecraft crashed, and now i cannot get back into that world without minecraft crashing.

@AlmostForgotten, you need to show the crash report for help, dude. It's found in a folder labeled "Crash Report" in your .minecraft folder. Until I can see that, my only guess is that it is an ID conflict. Try checking both items' IDs in their config files and changing one if they are, in fact, the same.
@RawrTara, you can't name them yet, but you will be able to eventually ^^. I'll be revisting the horses after I finish the draught system and farm tools :3.
@Biscuit, it's not the wrong thread, though he could have posted in the Mo' Creatures thread too, if he wanted.
