idea: you should have an option in the world gen to shrink you down to their size. this would ALSO change the way the world generates.

I'm not going to do the shrinking because there'd be too many issues with the jumping and getting up and over blocks and whatnot- the vanilla mobs would look awkwad too- one of the things im hoping to do is to create holes that have portals in them- and then when the player leaves the "hole world" i would like to entirely remove it and the hole allowing mroe to spawn haha. itd be really tough but a great way to implement it

New world thing seems to be a theme haha- well its something to consider but the concern now is getting the pikmin to act like pikmin haha

If you ever get this into smp, you have to find a way to mark each pikmin with their owner (easy enough, just have a EntityPlayer variable that each pikmin has and store their respective player into that as a reference). That way pikmin from different owners may attack each other or something XD. I know that would be waay into the future, but yea.

I Dont think SMP would be too dificult- and with the more complex stuff I think I'll be waiting for the actual mod API to come out

What about numbers, what will the pikmin cap be, if there is one before 100.
I'm goinig to have onion based spawning and stop the spawns after the count reaches 100

What about Mushroom Pikmin, or the unused varieties seen at the end of pikmin 1? (brown, orange, black, pink, green and cyan)
First: I meant like having them attack and follow the player- they may be dumb but there are some interactions in teh game that need to be covered
