    I will look into it at another time, but I will test to see if i need the other modloader.



    And I did need the MPModloader. Or maybe it overwrote a modded .class file and fixed the error (creating more), which I will find out in a few seconds after editing this again.

    Also, the block ID conflicts with another mod's ID, for the time being.

    i just watched the video but this is a must!

    also some suggestions is:

    -make all blocks compatible, other than things like obsidian and bedrock, which will stop the ship from becoming a separate entity from the world.

    -make a block that has to be the only one that can have contact with the ship without stopping the ship from taking of.

    I go to the mc launcher and launch minecraft, hit mods and textures, open the folder at the bottom and place the zip in there, then click on it (The picture of the mod is black and white) and when I try to craft it in game it doesn't work, am I doing it wrong?

    Yes. You need to go to the .minecraft folder, (go to the Run program, type %appdata%/.minecraft/ and hit Enter), and create a folder called "mods" within .minecraft. Place the zip file here, and you should be good to go.

    I am curious to know: does this mod take hold of objects attached to the hull's interior, like torches or paintings? Also, the Adfly link appears to be inoperable, if I am not mistaken.

    This mod actually requires Flan's ModloaderMP as well as regular Modloader. Be sure to install ModloaderMP after regular modloader. It actually uses some function of ModloaderMP, however I have no idea what that function is as it is a singleplayer mod and I don't have the source.

    Sorry for the ModloaderMP requirement, apparently I forgot to update the zip with that change before I uploaded it :/ That requirement will be gone next version.

    The mod will take hold of anything that is a 'block' (which should be everything other than entities like players and mobs).

    Block ID for the controller is currently 165.

    I am working on a config file you can use to set the controller block ID, as well as block IDs that you want to be allowed in the ship so everyone can customize to what they want. Currently the disallowed ones are things that kept getting stuck to my ship when I built it on the ground :wink.gif:

    i got a black screen + crash... couldnt copy crash.it closes to fast.i really want to make this mod work.please help guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If you get the black screen with no error, create the following batch file file (or put it in your start->run)

    java -Xms512m -Xmx1024m -cp "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\*" -Djava.library.path="%APPDATA%\.minecraft\bin\natives" net.minecraft.client.Minecraft

    You should now get a command prompt with all the java messages, and minecraft should start. When it crashes, this window should have your stacktrace.

    Got this crash when I tried to move a 3x3 planks with 1 plank sticking up, and a torch attached to the plank that was sticking up.

    And the same one when there was a torch next to a fence. Both when trying to create a craft.
    Note: I will keep updating this post when I find more crashes. I will add text to the end, outside the spoiler, when I find more.

    Some new bugs:
    Fences and glass render oddly, fences do not work (They act as a single ordinary block)
    You can fall through if you are moving in water (Probably lava as well)
    You cannot respawn (This only happened to me when I was far away and just died after attempting to intercept a smaller craft and falling through)

    I don't know how to read the crash reports but did you install ModLoader and ModLoaderMP? I also put the files directly into my JAR file and not the mod folder.

    I had an idea along these lines some time ago (similar, but not the same) - but I honestly didn't think it could be done. I can't wait to see if you get this working with chests/doors/furnaces/etc. If you do, this will become a stable part of my minecraft build :smile.gif:

    Are you looking for suggestions for future features that would help balance and enhance this? If so, I have a few - but I don't want to go shouting "do this, and this and that oter thing!!11!one" if you are not interested in getting too many ideas right now :tongue.gif:

    The ability of some of the people on the minecraft modding scene never fails to amaze me :smile.gif:

    Increase the maximum craft size please, because I had a big mothership that was 512 blocks. It even had a docking bay for an intercept craft that was about 50 blocks. Also, it would be really cool if you could make some huge ships, like a realistic zepplelin, with docking bays for Flan's ships.

    I just had an idea for a cool dogfight once this gets a bigger size limit and SMP:
    Make 2 big zepplins with docking bays for fighters, then add chests (also requires chests to be fixed) with ammo, fuel, bombs, etc. Then make sure the fighters can both take-off and land, and add the guns from the WW2 Guns mod and then host a server where each zepplin tries to destroy or take over the other. It would be cool cause you would have 1 captain for each zepplin then a bunch of fighters and some AA gunners. It would also require the moving blocks to be destroyable by explosives, and a few other things, like all entities connected to the ship move together, stuff like that.
