My idea is that the mod adds dragons (from how to train your dragon) which you can tame with any fish (cooked or raw ) and then you have a tamed dragon(that drops two ID tags when tamed I will get to that later) that follows you around and attacks things that attack you(like dogs) now all u need to ride them is a dragon saddle which is crafted by making 4 saddles and putting them together to make a bigger saddle all you do is right click on the dragon with the saddle and its on permanently right click again to ride right click on the dragon to get off. Now onto the ID tags (like I said I would) dragons drop 2 once tamed. The first one will be gold and that will let you change the name and color (3 colors one default and two others) each color has a number default is one and then there's two and three the colors depend on the dragon. The 2nd ID tag will command the dragon two attack whatever you right click on.
I will help but only with the dragons from the first of january (cause I can't code and I'm on holiday and didn't bring my laptop)

So what's it called besides this mod is different it has different dragons and each dragon has three different colors

i like savage dragons when they eat giant chunks of raw meat

Just one problem I want dragons from the movie like night furies and monstrous nightmares

I love toothless too! I'm no modder so I can't really do it. I can help make models though

Mo creature might add dragons in it's next update. And many request that they can be tamed.

I might be able to help with the models, and might even be able to draw some concept art for you.

P.S: i am a huge fan of the httyd franchise and would love to see this mod happen.

(either way, i still gonna draw some concept art and stuff)

I have an idea for your request, what about some dragons from the book series? I don't know their english names because i only have the books in portuguese... But would be cool!

I love How to train your dragon! I would really like to see some new weapons, like the catapult Hiccup used to take down Toothless! Maybe even a new boat like the viking boats! Or possibly even Hiccup as a mob!

I could sprite items for this, and I am learning how to model, but I cannot code anything.

after someone does the mod there should be a adventure aspect to like the aether mod

Will the dragons be able to breath fire also i think a structure like a viking village or like in the movie the dragon nest full of different dragons and the giant dragon (dont know the name)

i thinks you should add the ACTUAL dragons from the franchise (Night fury, monstrouse nightmare, gronkle, ect), and there would be "dragon nests" that you could find in the oceans. maybe an island with the four most common dragons(nadder, gronkle, nightmare, zippleback, terrible terror) nesting all over the place. and there would be a certain chance of finding each dragon with maybe a 5/100 chance of finding a night fury, and there would be other dragon nests generated independently in certain biomes, like scauldron and thunderdrum nests spawning in the ocean, maybe skrill and night fury nests generating in extreme hills+, and seadragonus gigantigus maximus nest would have a really small chance of spawning somewhere.
and maybe you could only tame dragons which you hatched, like you could get an egg, hatch it, give it fish or meat or mutton(possible new sheep drop) or something, then it would be tame.

edit: sry for the rant, i just really like httyd and having a mod for it would be incredibly awesome

edit 2: oh and this mod MUST have skrills, because skrills are just too badass to not be in minecraft
