i came up with this idea replying to another you are the *** mod request and though what if you could transform into all these things and back again. it would be a huge mod. you could get a special permanent ability for each creature in the game (it should be rare/difficult to get). but with it you could change from various forms and back again each giving you different abilities. Example: becoming an aggressive mob would allow you to walk among the enemies unless you hit one at which point they will kill you (like when a skeleton hits a skeleton). but you should only be able to use these abilities if your level is above a specified point(like 20 to become a cow[or something else weak/pointless)so enchanting things comes with a consequence and you cant just change right after you die. you shouldn't lose the ability though if you did because if you had an ender dragon ability you could never get it again. there is a lot more obviously and i'm open to suggestions for abilities.
cow: mooshroomgenerate mushrooms after periods of time sheep:generate your own wool after periods of time chicken: with this you can fit through 1x1 holes pig: fit through 1x1.5 holes slime: you are a big slime with slime minions that follow you creeper: you can blow up but lose most of your health skeleton: infinite arrows and infinite bow but arrows don't travel as far zombie: the first power you can obtain and use can do all things steve can do except heal spider: climb walls but are 2 blocks wide cavespider: climb walls, poison enemies but are 1.5 wide enderman: teleport short distances three blocks tall but are able to pick up any block (without tools) any blocks stone(or iron) tools can harvest blaze: fly around, charges up and shoots three fire balls(moves slower while charging similar to when you guard with your sword) zombiepigman: ghast: Smaller than normal ghast 3X3 shoots fire balls ender dragon: smaller then the regular dragon and obtained from hatching ender egg. it allows you to fly around and kill/break things while dashing (so you don't break what you didn't want to break)you are also stopped after breaking a certain amount of blocks(to prevent excessive damage and you are smaller thus not as powerful)
forms without arms cannot use/place things only destroy and pick them up
(un)dead forms do not need food but cannot self generate health
living forms need food but can heal themselves
animals can eat tall grass
you can craft healing stations that heal all forms but only from a short distance
after defeating the ender dragon you receive 4 ender dragon (and future boss) healing stations they are similar to the ender crystals but have the hardness of obsidian (so they dont get destroyed as easily) they can be harvested by your fist but take a long time and heal only the ender dragon from the same distance the ender crystals do in the end
obviously there should be more so please post suggestions!
i also need figure out ways to obtain each of these powers
