everyone i am Archenemy and i am here to talk to you guys about this new mod idea.

I am trying to recreate the surviving system, trying to make it more ... "normal"
HP and Armour changes:
Since there will be classes/sub. with different types of both HP and Armour, i decided to think of something different.
Instead of the actual normal hearts (HP) and shields (Defense) displayed as icons, they would be displayed as numbers.
20/30 <3 3/50 ()
First you would have to destroy the Armor to actually hurt your enemy, making it more useful, also improving the fact that you would be more careful with it.
Hunger & Thirst
Quite obvious, you have to eat to have energy to kill people!
Different types of food would fill your hunger in different ways.
A vertical bar in the lower left side of the screen, 10 bread symbols.
You will lose about 3.5 "Breads" per day, making the need of food big
Also obvious, you have to drink trough your waterskin (has 15 uses, after that it get empty)
You could also drink water directly trough a "water block" using ONLY your fists
There will also be different kinds of water, some examples:
Fresh Water, Salt Water, Holy Water and Murky Water.
(Don't worry, there are a few other ones!)
Another Vertical bar next to the hunger one displayed as bottles.
You lose about 4-5 "bottles" per day, being water your number one priority.
The Big question is, what happens if they reaches 0 ?
They will make you loose energy faster...

Good old energy huh?
Well, displayed as a thunder symbol, a vertical bar on the right lower side of the screen.
You have to sleep to recover it.
Now, there is a change that i believe it is a must!
On Multiplayer, you can sleep in your bed even if, other players aren't... confused? let me explain :smile.gif:
Basicly, you can sleep anytime you want to recover energy, by doing so you would have to wait 3-5 minutes.
How does this improves the mod?
Well, imagine that you are sleeping in a temporary camp, making you vulnerable to surprise attacks.
Which is perfect for Multiplayer as, guilds ( yeah, there will be "ig clans") could take turns,protecting each other, giving a fun/alert/scary game aspect!
It happens when you run out of energy.
On Singleplayer, you would simply die. As simple as it can get.
On the other hand, on Multiplayer, when you black out, you would lay on the ground for 5 minutes.
If someone throws you water and or food, you would wake up again with low energy.
-The map would be limited, being it 300K X 300K X 128
-You would spawn on the kingdom: Misthrall City (More info below)
-It would still be randomly generated but, each kingdom(More info below) would always be in the same place.
-The fact that it is a giant finite map, minerals and, materials like dirt/stone will end in the player's home area, forcing him to travel further in to the unknown!
-In the map there would be the kingdoms. (Found Below !)
-You can meet new fauna,new flora,and, battle and meet new races!!!
Boosting the RPG factor a lot!
And, forcing you to move out of your territory
Just imagine it, you riding your mount with lots of food and water, to the unknown!
Then, imagine how cool it would be if a whole guild did it ?!?!
You and your friends go to the death mountains in the search for new materials!

I would also wanted to know if, making the map finite, would in anyway reduce the lag?
Or, at least lower the RAM needed to run a server with this mod (while still having good FPS)

Since i am doing a little research on the environments, i will soon add the fauna and flora of all of them.

Before i actually tell you which races exist, first some info on them.
-Each race is capable of surviving on their own in their surrounding environment.
-They Will build their own "village/city/Thing".
-There would be Males and females, which their only difference would be the texture,both capable of doing the exact same thing. (Woman power ! )
-They will have a exp system just like the player.
The only difference is that, the first male and female of the same race gets to the max level(will be something between 10-15 also, should not take more than 3 irl hours) they will become king and queen.
More info on the Diplomacy thingy.
-They are living creatures, they need to eat and, to drink!
Therefore, each race has their own animals to hunt, for food.
They would create some sort of well around their nearest water source.
Also, they will plant fruits/vegetables/green things so they can eat. :smile.gif:
-Walls/sharpened trunks etc... would be around their town for both a way to defend the city as, a way to signal it to the player.
As well as their own type of gates. (Think of them as 3x3x4 doors :biggrin.gif: )
The Races Will be:
Humans - Misthrall City
Elves - Sacred Forest
Dwarfs - Frozen Valley
Orc's - Death Mountains
Sand Bandits - Burning Desert
Shaggin - Shaggin Island

It can't be done?
Well, continue reading.
Firstly, all the diplomacy/alliance/enemy related topics, found below, on the Diplomacy thingy
-Now, Wars will be a Race X Race giant battle, which occurs in WZ (WAR ZONE KINGDOM)
- They're motives:
Diplomacy with other races
When a War is about to begin, a 3 (minecraft) day countdown will start.
Both races should then prepare and, put they're troops on the battlefield.
The bigger the races size, the more mobs it will have :smile.gif:
Mobs would automaticly appear in WZ once the war is about to begin.
After both races are on the battlefield, a 500 secs countdown will begin.
You may pick a side in this war, but not both, a message should then pop out if you do even want to help any race.
If you did pick a side, you are unable to hurt your allies, even if you do hit them.
There would be Soldiers, Archers.
And, The Royal Guard, the king and queen personal troop, THE ELITE!
Beasts would be big monsters that races would bring to war as a weapon.
Killing this beasts would be your "task" in the war, as normal soldiers are weak against them.
If you do win a war, you will be rewarded of course!
The reward will function like thus:
The more mobs you kill the better it gets. :3

Classes and Sub-Classes:
The exp system, based on killing mobs for exp.
The Exp Sysyem
-The levels go from 1-30
1-5 The player should be able to achieve it in 1 hour of playing minecraft.
We will test this to make sure it fits.
6-20 The player should be able to achieve this in 3 days of playing.
Well, i do want to recreate an RPG/MMORPG therefore, the time seems to fit.
21-30 The player should be able to achieve this in 3 week.
Since, level 30 is the max, seems fine to me, besides if your lazy in life, you can't be lazy in the game! :tongue.gif:
-Each mob gives different exp, stronger ones give more and, weaker ones give less. Obviously
-There are also other types of exp system which i am going to tell you later.
Also, before the classes, let me talk to you about the weapons and armor.
Weapons & Armour
There are different kinds of weapons and armor for different classes, here i will explain how it works.
-There would be weapons available for different levels.
-Each Class can only wear certain weapons/armor.
Each class, can only craft his own equipment but, still able to carry other classes equipment in the inventory.
Normal - Sage : The young apprentice on it's way to powerful magics!
Normal - Marksman : The young aimer, on it's way to the bulls eye !
Normal - Swordsman : The young blade master, he will find it's way among blades.
Now, to firstly obtain the class, you have to become level 5... DAH ! :biggrin.gif:
A magic user.
Weapons: Staff/Rod Armor: Cloth Stats:Low hp, Has MP, Slightly faster than normal, Spells: Airball (8 damage/4 hearts) Info:
Since magic is powerful, while he is a sage he will be able to use magic, really weak one.
Making him a hard class to level in the beginning, think of it's power has something that still needs to be learned and, controlled.
Hard Class To solo.
When It achieves a higher level,he will able to pick strong magic casters.
Weapons:(T)Axe, Javelin, (T)Knife; Armor: Hide/Fur Stats:Normal hp, NO MP, Slightly faster than normal, Info:
The Marksman is a future long ranger fighter.
Since he is still learning how to use long-range weapons, he has to train and practice to achieve them.
Very good class to solo.
Weapons:Sword; Armor:Mineral Stats:High hp, NO MP, Slightly slower than normal, Info:
Even tough he can only use a sword, he has high hp, and can use freaking steel as his armor!
Weak for now,but a good class to solo, also good to "tank".
The Character log will be divided in 4 parts (3 for Single P.)

A guild is basically a in-game clan.
The reason for people wanting to be in one:
-You are not alone, you are protected by your mates :biggrin.gif:
-Easy trading/raiding/sharing resources.
-Everything is more fun with someone by your side.
When creating a guild, you have to choose a name and, a acronym for it
The name should be between 5-13 letters.
The Acronym 1-4 letters.
N - Game Over
Acr - GO
The acronym will be on the players name, inside  (It's left side)
Each guild may have up too 50 players.
-There would be a type-able box like 6X12 inches which you can scroll, only people that have the privileges can type in it.
In there you could type the rules, any information etc...

On 10:01, you can see his friend list in the upper left corner.
Now, my idea was to merge the 2 to make it simpler.

Also, do keep in mind that my goal by showing you the video is to give you a more visual image of how the chatbox will be.
-In the upper right corner, a (ADD+) button would be there, by clicking it a box would appear where you can type the players name, inviting him.
-A leave button at the left bottom corner,giving you the choice to leave the guild, making a box pop up to confirm it.
Also, for the Leader (Guild's Admin:)
In the right bottom corner(beneath the chatbox), a options display will be there, including:
-Members list,also their classes/sub-classes
-The rights, giving or taking permissions to invite,kick,or, writing.
If you aren't in one:
The above information is, if you are in a guild, if not only the option to create one should be there with 2 type-able boxes 1 for the Acr and the other for the name.
I am also thinking of adding some territory for the guilds.
My idea was to, make some sort of flags with expensive items.
When placed, the surrounding area would be the guild's territory, (30 blocks each flag)
But, you can't place them next to each other (referring to 1,2 or 3 blocks) because in that way, the range would only increase in 1,2 or 3 blocks.
If placed, they would disappear, making posting another flag on the same spot, the only way you can change the territory.
But, not sure :S

Well, this idea came to my mind because, there will be guild's now.
Players would go and search for the materials needed to create them.
Also, perhaps a good way ti fill your house, let's be honest, it feels empty :|
The current list of furniture is divided in 2 parts:
-Table ( 3 different sizes )
-Beds ( various sizes, and perhaps double beds)
There would be different materials for each one of them, making them having a different texture and, tiny different shapes.
Willow wood - Every wood ones may be glided
Rugs - Rugs would have a different texture based on the fur that they were made of.
Ex: tiger,bear,snow fur etc...
Curtains & Pillows:
Also, with clay you are able to make a clay pot, making you able to, plant flowers or plants:
Mounts, are basically a faster way to walk.
There will be 2 different types of mounts.
The land mounts The water mounts
The air mounts
-The exp system on mounting is based on the time you walked with them.
When you achieve different levels, you are able to ride faster/better/stronger mounts.
-You will start with land mounts, until level 15...
-At, 15 :smile.gif: you can ride air mounts, which will fly :biggrin.gif:
-Some may attack, (Which is their special attack, reloading every 1 or 2) which comes in different types and sizes, fireballs, dust,
Each mount will have their own diet, and, there are 3 types of them:
Carnivorous - They eat meat :biggrin.gif:
Herbivorous - They eat plants, leaves and flowers.
Insectivorous - They eat bugs... yeah, bugs :S
To feed them, you should place the food, on the ground.
A lil pile of meat, bugs or plants would appear and, any hungry mount would eat it.
To give them water, simply use a bottle or, a waterskin in a bowl (probably crafted with clay, and, it can be drank multiple times but, you can't recover that water but, you can recover the bowl)
There are 14 mounts, a total of:
8 land ones 8 water ones
6 air ones
Water mounts have been removed, since the only large sea is close to the shaggin island, making them just more things to code, also useless...
Here is the list for them:
Land: Up to bottom (Upper = weaker Bottom = Stronger)
To tame the mount, you first have to win it's respect.
Once, enough HP % has been taken, they will get stunned (With lil stars around their head).
They only get stunned for 3-5 Secs, you better hurry, since you have only 1 chance with it.
Now, depending on the mount you have to use some:
Shift + Right Click on them, makes them die and, drop a medal.
Which, you can right click to summon him again :biggrin.gif:
They will still get hungry and, thirsty, you should feed them time to time.
Drops/Item Types and Grade:
As, you can imagine, do to it's size, i am not even near finishing the drop section.

Item grade will, work in a cool way. (i think )

So, imagine a rat drops bones.
Those would be called rat bones and, would be in the small bone section.
And, so on for the other drops.

Q. how to join a kingdom?
A. In this mod, you will be able to interact with NPC's.
By shift + Right Clicking them, a box will open and, you will be able to chose what you want to talk about, and your answers.
By talking to the King, Leader of each race, the option to form a personal Alliance will surge.
Q. Who is fighting?
A. Every Race can fight each other, It will depend on how the map is created.
Everyone race can fight each other.
The top 3 motives are, territory dispute, prisoners or, resources.
Q. How to end the war?
A. The war will end, when one race surrenders or, there are no mobs remaining, from one race.
Q. What is the strongest kingdom?
A. No one.
We will balance every one, for example:
Dwarfs will be small but, good armour.
Orc's Will be 3-4 Blocks with good hp but, slow.
The weaker one, may be the humans, since it's your race.
(You will always be a human, but, you can form personal Alliances with races)
Since, you are a human, if, you attack/pile/Destroy other kingdoms, Misthrall City will be the one responsible.
Q. how do i help my kingdom?
A. I am thinking of adding quests.
Mostly gathering resources or, killing a certain number of mobs.
You can also help in the war.
Q. How do I become a class?
A. Once level 5 is achieved, a box in the middle of the screen will ask you to choose between the 3 first.
The same will happen for the advanced classes.
There is a possibility of other classes.
Each Box, should look like a old scroll.
Q. Will ther be bosses?
A. There will be 3 events.

Bosses would eat the undead, which are on the War zone Kingdom, growing and becoming stronger.
They will be huge, some may have special attacks of some sort.
Q. Can i becom the leader of my kingdom?
You may help it becoming stronger.
But, you will never be able to rule any kingdom.
Q. Will the NPCs have the same skin?
A. Well, The leaders/Kings will have their own skin.
Also as Every male and female character.
But, there will be around 3 to 5 Skins for every Male/Female/Kid and, the leaders/kings & Queens

A. Well, some.
I will not reveal any information on The Shaggin Island, except, They will have a Magic Sand, which will be very useful.

Well, the races will never completely be lost.
If, another race's territory, reaches the city, the will simply move to the Giant Plains.
Which, is unoccupied territory.
If, none available than the race disappears.
Do keep in mind that the % of that happening is extremely low.
Q. how and can i leave my kingdom and switch it?
A. You have to talk to the king.
A % of, it being considered treason, may occur, if so, you have certain days to leave or, the royal guard will come and get you <3

One of my favorite topics, related to games, it's easily survival.
Just think of it, searching, fighting, crafting...

I took several inspirations :
WoW, Runescape and, obviously Minecraft.

A. Even, when i call this a mod, it's size doesn't make it a mod.
Think of this has, zombiecraft, a new game based on minecraft.
We, Will use the 1.7.3 version and, some parts of the 1.8 and, make a new game.
You don't have to have minecraft installed to play it neither pay, will be 100% free
Q. Are the kingdoms spawn or built after some time?
A. The Kingdom itself, is spawned already with the city somewhere in it.
As the time passes, the city will grow
Q. Is ther an army and if yes can i join?
A. No, you can with your guild form a imaginary army however
Q. What if i kill my own king?
A. The king, it will the strongest mob in the city.
If, you attack him, the royal guard will immediately slaughter you, it will be impossible to kill him all by yourself.
Q. can i steal from my kingdom?
A. If, a personal Alliance is formed, you can "loot" chests,if, no NPC is seeing, yet if someone does see you, you will be sent to jail. however, killing villagers or, destroying buildings will be considered treason.
Q. can i tread or sell things?
A. Still thinking of that, there may be a shop.
If so, you won't be able to sell, only trade from a various item list
Q. will every NPC have a job like in millener?
A. No, they will however have tasks.
Getting food, getting water, etc...
Q. how big can my kingdom grow?
A. The city first needs to grow.
After that, they will slowly replace the dirt in the plains for, their type of terrain.
Q. what kind of buildings will ther be?
A. Houses, Some kind of Inn's The Castle(King) and, 1 or 2 for every race(Special ones)
Q. will the NPCs have names?
A. Yes, a list of name should be added.

You can make your territory with the flags, but they will be expensive to make.
