Rutile Ore: This is an ore in real life that contains titanium within. However, titanium cannot be smelted with traditional means. It requires heat. Lots and lots of heat.
This is Rutile. It is found at the bedrock layer and is often in crevices and hard to reach spots.
Strength: A Diamond Pickaxe is required to mine, and the time to mine is approx. 1 second. It yields one rutile ore block which can be place and stacked.
Rutile ore cannot be smelted into titanium ingots with a normal furnace. It requires more heat then a furnace can produce, and must be smelted in still lava. How do we do this? You need lava-resistant tongs.
Tongs
Type: Tool
Uses: 64
These tongs will be coded similarly to that of bow and arrows, as tongs and rutile ore do not need to be combined to interact with each other. The sprite for tongs will have a rutile ore clamped in them if a rutile ore is in the inventory. Right clicking the tongs while pointing at still lava smelts the rutile into titanium ingots, which are stored in an empty slot in the inventory. If one isnt present, the ingot will not smelt (Or just discard it)
These ingots can be crafted into tools and armor, as well as a variety of other things:
A. Titanium Supertool- This handy device works to mine any item at iron tool speed. It has about 500 uses.
B. Titanium Shovel
C. Titanium Pick
D. Titanium Axe
E. Titanium Hoe
All these tools mine faster than diamond, but have the same number of uses as iron.
F. Titanium Arrows- These triangular-tipped menaces have been known to break through weaker blocks like glass and foliage due to its speed and sharpness. Their triangle-shaped tips prevent wounds from healing, so hitting creatures with these may sometimes cause lingering damage.
G. Titanium Ingot-
H. Titanium Shards- Sharp shards of titanium can be crafted from a two ingots, yielding 4. They can be thrown and cause quite a bit of damage... but may break or not do any damage if thrown from too close a distance.
Titanium Armor
Titanium armor offers strength between iron and diamond, however, Titanium Armor was smelted in lava, therefore it offers high lava and fire resistance and significantly cuts the damage you take from both.
Titanium also has a number of other uses:
I. Titanium Reinforcements
These can be right-clicked onto existing blocks, strengthening certain blocks to make them nearly indestructible by blast.
II. Synthetic Minerals
Titanium, in real life, is a very important ingredient for making synthetic gens, so titanium ingots, combined with specific dyes and materials, can create certain minerals.
III. The Pipebomb
Pipebombs are an explosive device, which have a larger blast radius than TNT, and can be triggered by even the slightest movement once they are placed. The explosion is instant.
IV. Trap Spikes
Trap spikes can be activated via redstone to damage enemies. Their texture will look like smooth stone, with slightly off-color holes that are hard to see in lower light levels.....
V. Titanium Furnace
Like a normal furnace, but can be powered by redstone and cooks faster than normal.
Welp, thats all I got so far. Let me know what you think. I have the generation code for it done since the update, and I'll be working on it. :biggrin.gif:
Awesome ideas man! I would definately get this, if it was compatible with my mod suggestion/request lol.
I actually really liked the pics from your workbook, keep it up! Btw, how do I make my pics be on the forums and visible? (I'm a internet noob lol)

Thanks man.
And to get your pictures you need to make an account on something like photobucket (Its what I use). You upload your pictures there and use the link to the picture and place it in the command (bracket)img(bracket) (Link) (bracket) /img (bracket) like that!
This is it so far, but mostly i was asking if i could 'borrow' your ideas. But if the mod is actually under construction, i will let you finish it for yourself :3

Hmmmm. I like you mod idea. What do you mean by borrow? Just basically adopt my ideas for your own mod?

And here's my mod idea.
