Nothing here is your fault nightlone - no apology needed at all.
This was not a case of a troll getting under my skin - this was a troll spamming me constantly over a three day period with no sign of stopping, and no sign of help from the moderator despite repeated pleads for help.
PMP and DMP most definitely WILL be back up soon - I have some homework to do to find the best location, which might very well be my own web site and not a poorly moderated community site.

I do love this mod, and found a copy of the 1.8 version to use when the other mods I have update, I do hope 10paktimbits, that you will continue to do updates for the new versions of Minecraft, and while new content is always appreciated, it's not a deal breaker as the mod has plenty of content already.
I also know the need to step back and recharge the batteries so to speak. I myself was working so hard last year I fell asleep behind the wheel and wrecked my car. Fortunately no one, including myself was injured but it does make one re-evaluate one's priorities. One of the things I do to relax is play Minecraft, and yes I too was upset about the purchase by Microsoft. But so far Microsoft has been a silent owner, the modder's still mod, and the Youtubers still post and everything seems to be running as if the change in ownership never happened, much like business in Hong Kong. That said the situation you found yourself in seems to be related to Curse support staff, not Mojang who contracts with Curse for forum support or Microsoft, (Microsoft is notorious for bad customer support)
So relax, find another site for the wiki and make the mod to please yourself, it will be better for it. And try to ignore the idiot trolls out there.
Thanks again for letting us play with your fantastic mod.
Well, it has taken me well over ten minutes -- I think it might be verging on twenty, though part of that was interrupted, so that's an unfair assessment -- to locate 10pak's site and the fact that the Plant Mega Pack is definitely still around and the "definitely still for download" notes aren't outdated, just the links are outdated.
Google is still pointing to nonexistent posts and a Curse thread that just says "under moderation" or something.
It would be nice -- it will be nice -- when proper updated links show up when I try to hunt for this mod again. Because until about thirty seconds ago, I was thinking it most definitely had ceased to exist. Evidence was a deleted Minecraft Forum thread, a seemingly deleted Curse page, sites I don't trust that might have bootleg copies on Google (I trust Minecraftforum.net and I trust Curse, and that's about it for alternative download sites that aren't the mod creator's personal sites), and some lingering farewell from the creator, left in Google's memory but not findable even via a cached copy or the Wayback Machine. (Note: If anyone has a copy of that original farewell, it ought to be posted here for the sake of history.)
Seriously, I had to go through the Wayback Machine to find the name of the guy who makes this mod, to look him up on these forums, to locate this thread, which is two pages long and started a year ago. That didn't seem like a hopeful state of affairs.
I hope nobody else is missing out on a fine mod which is still in existence and still being updated (apparently) simply because of the way it got purged from the internet (on its regular expected location, at least). And I hope no other creators decide that this is the appropriate way to handle things (as opposed to, say, deleting the contents of the original post and putting a link to the new site, so people could find it... assuming the difficulty of finding the mod isn't deliberate). Trying to find information on the internet that was there last time I looked but has been destroyed is one of those scenarios that raises a physiological response in me, like a (very minor) panic attack, and I much prefer finding concrete details still around to figure out what the hell happened when I was off in other corners of the internet for a few months.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!
Oh wow, this is quite sad. I feel very sorry for you 10pak and what you've been through (and continued bombardment). I just hope that there will be a day when this community will revive, and the mod itself, along with you makes a comeback. It was a great mod, most agree, and I would love to see it again someday.
Edit: Refreshed and saw good knews. (WTF? I think wrong forum... :P)
Nice, so happy
Edit 10 seconds later: Oh, second page...... SO HAPPY!
You should probably make a post in the WIP-mods section. It gets more traffic(finding this thread was difficult enough), and might be a better place to find other modders to help. If the moderators don't lock that kind of thread due to lack of permissions.
Can't you disable the tooltips via config? Or at least most of them? I had the scientific names on for all of about 15 seconds.

Best news I've had today
PMP and DMP are still alive - go here.
Oh joy! 'Tis a very good day!.
Oh 10paktimbits, Where would you like requests? I have one or two

I have to say, you're really great for doing this, larry. It's nice to see that the mod hasn't completely died.

These two guys, might help you! Both of them love Minecraft and both dedicate to update mods (even the dead ones).

I send them a message! Hopefully, they will agree! Still, look all over the forum! Maybe ask the guy that created "GardenStuff" (jaquadro)?
