No matter how many times i try to force update minecraft and re-download modloader and re-install it, it crashes. I deleted the META-INF folder, what do I do?

Hence the reason why they made there own that doesn't suck... Otherwise known as Forge ModLoader.

Wrong Section.
Also delete everything in your mods folder.
