Can anyone give me a small list of cool minecraft 1.4.2 mods

I don't know about a list,but you can go to skydaz.com to see mod installers and pick out any that you would like,i would recommend the Balkin's Weapons mod.

Steve's Carts 2 is pretty cool to play around with, but watch Direwolf20's video about it or you'll be lost at first.
Require's Forge, and I recommend NEI and CodeChickenLoader along with it.

There're few mods in planetminecraft.com and not all in there are useless. Download few from there, but maybe you should just be patient 'til alot of mods comeout

There is a bunch out there ok just search "mods for minecraft 1.4.2" and walla.
