Hey guys! Lately my minecraft has been crashing... a lot. It will work for around 5 minutes and then freeze, and then I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete the program. I have tolerated it since a little after 1.3 came out (thats when I began getting interested in mods), but I have decided that enough is enough and to get help. This is the first area of help I can think of going to, the Minecraft Forums.
Here's the jist: when I first began experiencing it was a little after I got the "Magic Launcher" For minecraft. I thought it was a pretty neat idea, and I really liked it. I installed Optifine, TooManyItems, and Rei's Minimap. I didn't have a problem until a few days later. I began to experience it and said "Meh, it'll pass." Sadly, it didn't and still hasn't. Anyway, I thought I might need ModLoader, so I installed that. Nothing changed. I thought the order the mods were in was wrong. Nothing changed. I then stopped using Magic Launcher altogether. Vanilla minecraft, normal launcher, everything. It worked for around a day, Minecraft began crashing again. I installed optifine using 7-zip (a program that can be used to manually install mods), to see if that would work. Again, it worked for around a day, then began crashing again.
Here I am now, typing this. I would appreciate if someone could help me through this as I would like it very much to not have it crash every 5 minutes so if anyone can help, please do. I would appreciate it.. plus I will give you a virtual !
Hoping for the best...

PS: If this doesn't belong here, kindly say so in that I may move this. Thanks!

It might just be the Magic Launcher you installed. I don't know much about it, but do you need to update it at all? It could just be a problem with ML, and not your computer. Use the normal Minecraft client and see if you are still having the crashing issues. If you aren't, then ML could be the problem.
Your going to think of me as stupid after I ask this... but how do I check that? e.e
Windows
Open the Start-menu, and select "Properties" on My Computer (forgot what this is called in Vista/7).
Somewhere in that window it should tell what bit it is.

If you read the whole thing, I say that I stopped using ML...

I don't have a "Properties" in my computer... unless I'm blind and I can't see it >_> Which is probably (and usually) the case.

Nope, no other programs are messing up.
