Hello, I have a bit of a problem with the Minecraft Mod, "TooManyItems" for v1.2.5
My problem?
I have installed this mod 1 time, but then I accidently deleted my .Minecraft folder so I had to reset Minecraft and basically start Minecraft all over again. After that I went to install TooManyItems for v1.2.5 again, but everytime I try to move all the folders into my Minecraft.jar(Opened in WinRAR archiver), It gives this error message:
! Cannot rename __rzi_0.187 to C:\Users\fc\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.
Can anyone help me out? I can't seem to find anyone else with the same problem, I wish to start a Mod spotlight series on youtube, but until I get TooManyItemsv1.2.5, the series will have to hold off.
Something in your .jar (or the.jar itself) is being used. Make sure you don't have minecraft running or have the .jar in any messenger (or other) program (ex: Skype).
I have the same problem I deleted my .minecraft folder a couple of times put the mod on this last time I tryed to put it on it let me but it is not showing on the application can some one help me please if this helps I have a few other mods on there but they work not inculding singler player commands
1. Get 7 zip, way better than winrar or winzip.
2. Reset computer, should cleen the problem (had that, but with a specific folder in wich there was nothing. Was able to delete said folder after a reset)
3. Install TMI. I Suggest going with Starting Inventory if you wishes to have a more fun time without having to resort to TMI, wich should be used for testing purpose of mods.
How much memory is still unnused on your hardrive? Do you have enough RAM? What are the specs of your computer? If you are running Windows Vista, upgrade to 7 or downgrade to XP.
And looking at your desktop, you seem to have an awfull lot of heavy games installed.
