hello everyone, i would like to show you a mod that i am making with axciom, the stargate mod. i will add stuff like the staffs, the zats and a lot more. i will also make mobs including za'tarcs, jaffas, tokra's, system lords and a few others. hopefully i will be able to make a working stargate that allows you to go to other planets which will all be desert like and each one will have their own system lord. if i succeed in this i will make 16 planets (since there were 16 system lords mentioned in the series). axciom will make the texture's and i will do the coding.

if you do not know what stargate is, it is a show about using a "stargate" to travel to different worlds which also have a stargate. the humans are in war with the goa'ulds, which are parasites which uses a human as a host.

how do you plan to input the (in most cases)7-digit address?
the 13(?) digit numbers system for adresses?
the tablets?(shows addresses)
i haven't really figured that out yet, but my plan is to make a block (the dialer) wich will open a GUI upon right clicking. with that GUI you can select 7 symbols and if you choose a right combination, the gate opens

yes... i've watched the show. oh and if a naquahdah block is destroyed by an explosion, it will create a new explosion with a factor of 20 ^^ (a creeper is 3)

you can only move the speed of light within space, however as far as we know space itself can do whatever the hell it wants
Modifying the Java file of the Portal? it surely has a Shape (5 x 4)
I think the code says: "if you create an Empty shape of 5x4, and light it up with F&S, Portal Blocks Will spawn on the empty area"
the code actually works even without obsidian corners, making an "oval" portal works aswell
Just make that measures bigger
so... a square?(minus 4 blocks?)

i will, eventually. i succeeded in making a portal and a dimension, but i'm still just messing around to see what everything does. there will probably be a dimension in the first release, but it will most likely be just desert with pyramids

second off the symbiont is not always bad... especially if you are terminal

at the moment they're 5 blocks big, there are 40 of them in one chunk (16 x 16 x bedrock to sky)
