For some reason I can't use 2 mods that use modloader at the same time. Can some one explain that to me why it does that. And if theres a way around it let me know. Also if anyone can give me a list of mods that dont use modloader tell me. -Thanks!
If the two mods modify the same class file in the jar file, then when you add both, one overwrites the modifications made by the other. Knowing which 2 mods might help someone tell you what the problem is, as kukelekuuk00 said :wink.gif:
Well I tried using mods like the piston mod and i Had some other mods that didnt use mod loader like singleplayer commands and Too many items inventory editor adn also planes+ ( A mod where it has everything you need in one mod to run planes mod) and they all worked.I installed all my mods with TFC molloader. But when I tried to install plastic mod that uses mod loader it didn't work. I got a black screen. Can you help me with this?

You need to find out WHAT the blackscreen error is. There's lots of errors that can cause the blackscreen crash.
Chances are, it's a block ID clash. That seems to be the most frequent cause of mod conflicts. It's not all that hard to fix.
Go to the "Modding tips and tricks" topic, I think is the name (it's stickied) and in there is a description on how to get an actual error report out of Minecraft.
If you can post that here, it's easier for us here to help you.
Rule of thumb is if a mod does significant modifications to the source as opposed to just additions it probably won't get much out of modloader. If that's the case you're basically sorta screwed since one file will have to overwrite the other. Considering you have over a dozen mods though, any one of them could have inconveniently blocked out the new one.
Well, that or you're lucky and it is a simple conflict, like the other poster said, worth checking into anyway if you want.

I have the same problem. The mods i currently have loaded that are working together are modloader, toomanyitems, and single player commands. I want to add the planes mod so I can fly around in an airplane, but when i add it, i get that black screen... what should i do?
The whole point of modloader is to let you install more than one mod at once. If the mods aren't working together, it can be because of an ID conflict, one or more of them overwriting a base class, or you just installed them wrong.
