I made a building plan for the "Häcksler" (chippers) by .
It's a mob trap for agressive and passive mobs.
Installation:
-Drag and Drop the files into the custom folder (minecraft/millenaire/buildingplans/custom)
Important:
Replace the last wool with lava!
And wait! The wife will activate the water later.
Cost: ~300 glass, ~50 wood

I think I'm starting to understand. Is that stone column supposed to be replaced with a ladder to make an entrance? And is that the wool block I replace with a lava block? But won't the lava burn all of the item drops?
Also, I'm not getting any mobs to spawn to in the upper "evil" part of the Mob Trap. I think they only spawn within a certain distance of the player and maybe this is too high up?

Make a "Archer Trainer" place.. and... you can hire 1 adult to make your partner..
or maybe.. the archer can be a guard (in the tower) and walking around the house (something like that)
Oh!!! One thing.. Make them have voices.. like ....

you need to deleted all white wool exept the 1 were u need to place the lava when u removed all white wool u need to place 1 lava by the last wool
I put the wool back. So where do I place the lava? On top of that wool or in place of that wool. I took the wool out and put lava in it's place but that did not work
I finally got it working but it needed more than just placing the lava where the wool is. There were 2 ladders missing, amongst other issues. This should have been tested first before posting.

Finally got it built and upgraded. I manually added in the ladder to get down to the chamber, and now I have lots of squid there. ^.^ I get some cooked porkchops too which is nice. This isn't bad. Problably with a little thought and tweaking it could be improved. :smile.gif:

The water trap on the "friendly" mob part needs to be deeper because they just jump in and out of the water at will. Rarely do they go close enough to the point of no return.

this isnt a building design, but i think it could improve gameplay a bit:
You could make it so that villages are a bit closer (maybe 300?) and make them active at about 500,
then you could have it so that the villages have enemy towns that they fight against and stuff.
Eg. One town near start point is an enemy of the town closest by them, the first town sends troops to go attack them to try "conquer them, causing a new town from the same town (like allies but the conquered town is the first towns now) so that could make things a little more interesting than just them gathering and building.
Also some building idea's could be: City Wall: Goes around the limit of the town (as set in config)
5 levels (1: Dirt, 2: Wooden, 3: Cobble on first layer*, 4: Fully cobble, 5: Smooth stone with in between[like guard tower]) Barracks Trains the warriors (Rankings?)
? levels (it'll be hard to explain, so i can make models and post them later)

I've noticed squid and chickens sometimes escape unharmed and roam the chamber.. no biggie, but just something to think about.
Also the ladders holding the lava in place also acts as a dam for items and mobs to continue on.. even if the glass tube gets full of mobs.
