Hey Scaevolus.. I downloaded the mod but yet the lag/framerate persists.
I don't know what the hell to do anymore.
The only way i can stabilize the framerate is if i go into the options menu and quickly switch from (FAST) to (FANCY) back to (FAST).
Then the framerate starts getting smoother, but that only lasts for about a minute then starts dropping again..
Then i have to repeat the method above to get it back to normal...
How much memory do you have? The next patch may have some stuff that helps.

wait, are you planning to release an update to give us even more FPS?

FYI, Cartographer doesn't like this mod. Added it, didn't really notice a difference in speed, still getting 13 fps on my laptop. Tried cartographer, it freaks out. I removed the mod and cartographer worked again.
In retrospect, the fact that it's causing the game to not save means that creeper that snuck up on me in my mine won't leave a lasting impression. Always gotta look for the positive side...
You won't notice much of a speed difference at first when you're loading a world saved in the normal way. What OS are you using? Did you exit Minecraft normally?
I'm on an i3 Win7 x64 Laptop. Yeah, I left Minecraft like normal (save and quit), but I don't recall it saying "saving chunks" when it exited. Also, I think the /region folder is screwing up Cartograph, but don't quote me on that, I know **** for programming.

Believe it or not, the internet (especially Google) can help you.
I have a slight problem. Whenever I make an edit using MCEdit, I cannot see it in the actual game. If I were to save what I did in MCEdit, and then close and reopen the save, I can still see the edits I made in the game, but when using the actual MineCraft client I cannot see the changes I made.
Regarding the sand/gravel thing: I don't think that bug is my fault. Sand/gravel falling has been glitchy for a while now.
Sweet, thanks for fixing that.
yeah I realized I had one of Zombee's mods running.. It stops time (hurp durp on my part) so it's not McRegion cancelling out the gravity but rather my own idiocy xD
This is really odd. Did you generate a new map, or load an old one?
Do you have any other mods running?
I can't think of anything that I did that would cause three-wide trees to be generated.
this is a new map i started
its also been happening with my older saves aswell
it makes chunks cut off and generate somwhere else in the world
for example i found a valley if you could call it that in a previous worls that had looked like a line of chunks d been switched with the ones next to it
yes i have these mods installed
modloader
tree drops
mo' creatures
humans +
custom creatures
all of 303s mods
the custom cape mod
and in game inv edit
alot of others aswell
for example i found a valley if you could call it that in a previous worls that had looked like a line of chunks d been switched with the ones next to it
Nothing I changed should have any effect on either the trees or the loading of previous chunks. Could you upload the world file that you're having a problem with?

PEOPLE PEOple people.... Never use the in-game delete function. Go to the .minecraft folder and delete the world.
It's always worked for me, and I've never used the in-game delete in I don't know how long. (Especially because WorldsOmega seems to break it :tongue.gif:)

Well in all honesty I just delete the folders directly too, but to my knowledge I fixed the delete issues with WorldsOmega couple weeks ago. No one else has complained about it since at least.

that would be awesome, please reply :smile.gif:

The problem with me is my processor.
And my lap-top, what with it being a lap-top and all...
But this definitely helps!
Thanks!
