oh and by the way does it clash with the following mods?: Too much TNT, Combat evolved HALO mod, Lava monsters, AoA mod, Lycanite's mobs mod complete, Dungoen mobs, Godzilla mod, damage indicators, or Mini Bosses mod.

I don't use tekkit or FTB
Use the Curse Launcher then and i dont know as i dont use them mods.
SA Seemed like a cool modpack from the description, but honestly it was the quickest delete of any modpack I have tried. I appreciate the effort but there are some serious problems with the start of this modpack. First off, silly typos in the first information book really make you look like a noob (you mixed up expect with except, two completely different words). And then the very first quest is bugged: the three part quest is completed even though you only have 1 item of the three required in your inventory. I'm just going to assume that following the first handful of quests nets you some flint or a functioning tool as a reward since as far as I can see there is no (practical) way to get flint or tools since tools you can make all have a durability of 1, which is a HUGE turn off. I've played other mod packs that basically forced you to use tinker's tools to start and disabled the default tools, so that in itself isn't a huge problem, but at least they had the 3 gravel = 1 flint recipe enabled so I could quickly get some tinker's flint tools made. In my opinion, the quest book should be there to enhance and inform, but not forced on you at the start like your modpack seems to do especially when it's bugged and a WIP. I think a person who is experienced in playing MC mods should be able to get a quick start without being forced to go through 1 quest at a time, in the hopes that flint or a tool will be a reward at some point. I just wanted to play a modpack focused on Galacticraft without being forced to jump through silly hoops and being slapped in the face with noobish mistakes from minute 1. Oh and by the way, you do realize that "astronomy" is a branch of science focused on space? So your modpack title is a bit redundant, and can be literally translated as "Space the science of space". Perhaps something else would be a bit smoother like "Space Journey / Odyssey / Trek / Quest / Exploration" or whatever? Good luck with the modpack, I hope you'll see my comments as constructive as I'm sure the goal of any modpack maker is to have people like it immediately and not be turned of by it immediately.

Im sorry you feel this way, a simple typing/spelling isnt a reason to not play the pack and your just being to picking. And i have to make sure the pack works for everyone and not just experienced players also you dont have to even use the quest book if you dont want to.
Feel free to message if you would like to talk about this more.
Hi how do i change the gravity settings in galaticraft, i'm using creative mode on my space station but i can't move very well or go completely off track when flying. I do have to say though this is the best mod pack i have used in a while.
You cant thing it is hardcode in the galacticraft mod and you can use spin thrusters to make moving better
I'm setting up my first server here can any one give me tips and pointers of what to do and how to set this up. I have every thing I download for the server itself and just playing with everything and learning. But again this is my first server and I don't what to **** any thing up.
Hey MJR... Nice work... Have you consider adding Vein Miner? Maybe an addition to the pack as optional maybe but good to save some time in the beginning, I've added myself and hope will not cause any issue.

Your best bet would be to watch youtube videos based on making a server.

Get used to it on Sky factory 2.
Thanks and i have thought about adding Vein Miner but its not really needed. I might add it in future.
I cant setup a public server for this pack yet because i dont have the money for the server.
Just to say Space Astronomy is on the curse launcher now, as well as the FTB Launcher. But dont worry both will be updated at the same time
how do i install modpacks without tekkit or FTB?
You can either download this http://beta.cursevoice.com/downloads and you will be able to search for the mod pack or you can download the FTB Launcher here http://www.feed-the-beast.com/ and use 'SpaceA' in the third party packs section under the pack codes.
i mean i already downloaded ur modpack but i dont know where to place it in the minecraft appdatta
you dont need to copy it anywhere, if you use one of the launchers then you can launch it from there.
