Did you never think about add animals like a deer? I'm asking because I ever wanted have a deer and ride them a one too, something different of a horse, but I never found a mod that let me do it. This is my little frustration since the Twilight Forest.

like no one has ever made a mod for something like 1.10 or 1.7.10 and was like you know what I should do I should rewrite my mod for a version older than the one i started it in. It would be nice but that is not likely also is lotr still being worked on and if so do they have a plan to update if not you may want to look into learning modding and making it for yourself so you can play all the cool new mods. I know that is my plan. I am going to make my own magic mod to fill the void of all the magic mods i miss

Thanks.
Hmm... haven't discussed deer yet. Thanks for the suggestion.
NO! For the last time I will NOT update UNTIL AND UNLESS LOTR Mod is updated!
Well, that's a personal choice you've made. You can't expect other people to develop content for a far outdated version of the game, nor can you expect the mod author of LOTR to make the mod for updated versions if he/she chooses not to.
Although I'm pretty sure you can install side by side versions, so you could keep your 1.7 and also play 1.11.
Frogs, Toads, and Dart Frogs (Rivers, Swamps, Jungles)
Draft Horses (Plains, Savanna) - there is much more to come for this animal, for now, you can enjoy riding him
Major Features:
Tamed Hamsters, Ferrets, and Hedgehogs can ride on your shoulder (Sneak + Right-Click) (credit: VallenFrostweaver)
Troughs now work with Hoppers, Pipes, other inventroy manipulating mods and can be fully automated (1.11.2) (credit: Guinaro)
Milk and Slop are now liquids that can be automated (1.11.2)
Milk and Slop can now use universal buckets (1.11.2)
All Animania animal drops can be set in the Config to use any item from any mod in the game
Consolidated all meat breeds to one meat type (“Prime Beef” or “Prime Pork”) to reduce item clutter. This can be changed back in the config.
Refactored all AI code for improved perfomance (credit: sfPlayer1)
WAILA integration. Learn more about your animals and other objects with this mod installed. ‘Sneak’ while viewing your animal for even more info. (1.11.2)
JEI integration. Learn more about some of the Animania items in the game with this mod installed (1.11.2)
All animals now persisent to fix despawning issues seen by some users (credit: Cilleh1989)
Other Features:
You can now ride all adult Animania pigs. They just need to be happy (and you have to be holding a Carrot on a Stick)
Adult Draft Horses can also be ridden, provided they are happy and you have a Riding Crop (no saddle required, for now)
Both sides of trough are now redstone aware (1.11.2 only) (credit: mreel)
Automation can be turned on/off config (1.11.2 only) (credit: OreCruncher)
Ferrets now eat eggs whenever they are hungry
Tamed Ferrets and Hedgehogs will now obey the ‘Sit’ command (right-click) (credit: VallenFrostweaver)
Improved pathing for animlas that eat food and drink water from Troughs
Added an Easter Egg (shhhh)
Updated Chinese Translation (credit: TartaricAcid)
I think you guys might have forgot an if check somewhere, because about 240 frogs spawned in and around a mountain (well, down in the valley) I was beautifying >.>
Brought my 5960x and 1080 ti to a crawl looking in their direction >.>
Why only 1.11.2 for the automation? Is that just for now, or will 1.11.2 be the main version for automation updates from now on? I'd love to use 1.10.2 to automate my milk production, with an MFR rancher if MFR ever updates past 1.7.10.

We will do a few more automation updates to 1.10 (see the full release notes), just aren't done yet.
The real answer is... because it's a lot of work and it isn't done yet.

Well... LOTR mod is awesome, I must admit. But.... I play across multiple versions of Minecraft. I just keep folders with my setup.

yeah i do that all the time with 1.8 and 1.10 playing across these versions of minecraft
I've tried doing that but it won't work for me for some reason.
Hey dear mod creators it would be nice when you make Huskys or snow Wolves it would be fantastic

One question how do you tame horses and can you ride them yet? also why do chickens/roosters attack hedgehogs and ferrets?

Yep, reported here: https://github.com/capnkirok/animania/issues/170
Sorry about that. Suggest you set a few ferrets in that direction to clean up the mess. Will be updated soon
Horses - use a riding crop. Make sure they're happy (wheat & water)
Roosters attack ferrets and hedgehogs because those animals steal eggs from nests
We will do a few more automation updates to 1.10 (see the full release notes), just aren't done yet.

ooooh ok thanks!
Maybe have your own milking machine? I'd love to see one, so I can make a realistic dairy farm.
