Before you install my pack, make sure you have Optifine 1.10 already installed. This pack does not work with versions before 1.8.9.
Step 1: Download the version of my pack that best suits your PC or likings.
Step 2: Navigate to your .minecraft folder after installing and running Optifine for Minecraft 1.10. This folder can be found by typing %appdata%/.minecraft into your file explorer if on Windows.
Step 3: Go into the shaderpacks folder in .minecraft and drag the pack from your download location to here.
Step 4: Enable my pack and go wild! Remember, you can always change the settings for the pack in Shader Options, but do it at your own risk. Many of the settings in there can heavily impact performance on low end PCs, so keep that in mind when tinkering.
Known Issues:
- Water refraction strength may sometimes seem to varry between cards. Strength set at a good in between so it's acceptable.
- Lens flare has a known issue where, on AMD and some Intel drivers, depending on the style, there will be a big orange circle in the middle of the screen or a big black circle in the middle of the screen. Enable AMD Lens Flare Fix in the first screen of shader options to disable the section of the lens flare that causes this.

By downloading this pack, you agree to the following:
-Redistributing is not allowed. You cannot take any of the code in this pack and claim it as your own, as that is plagiarism and is not chill. If you want to use any of the code, ask me first.
-Editing of my pack is allowed as long as you do not redistribute it and use it for ONLY personal use.
-Use of non-direct links to the download of my pack is not allowed. I may not have ads, but an accurate download count from Mediafire is nice to have on occasion. Also I'd rather not have unauthorized posts to unofficial websites such as shadersmod.com or whatever it's called, you should never support or use those websites for security issues.
When reporting an error, I will need a small list of information before being able to do anything about it. Here's a step by step process of how to get that information, and how to format your error report:
Gathering Information:
- Log: I will need information from the Minecraft console. To enable the console while playing, you will need to open the Minecraft launcher, go to the profile you play with shaders on and click edit profile. In the window that pops up, check launcher visibility and in the drop down menu next to it select "Keep the launcher open." Then, next time you encounter an error with the pack, it will display the information about the error in the Minecraft launcher. It will say something like this:
[Shaders][SEVERE] Error linking program: 20
[Shaders] Info log: /shaders/composite.vsh, /shaders/composite.fsh
Fragment info
-------------
0(82) : warning C7022: unrecognized profile specifier "sucks"
0(82) : warning C7022: unrecognized profile specifier "Sgt"
0(82) : error C0502: syntax error at token "Sgt"
This is the information I'll need when fixing reported bugs.
- Screenshots: If your problem is not appearing in the console, I will need screenshots of your problem. You can use Gyazo, or upload your screenshots, whatever works. As long as I get the information I need, we'll be fine.
- Specs: I will need the specs of your setup in this order: Graphics card
Monitor and window resolution CPU
RAM
- Mods: Once you have gotten the specs of your computer, I will also need a list of mods you are using, their versions, and the version of Minecraft you are using in this order: Shaderpack version MC version Forge version? Optifine version? Mod 1 - version Mod 2 - version etc...
Formatting the report:
Specs (in the order listed above) Mods (in the order listed above) Issue
Screenshots (if necessary)
Log (as shown above)
Make sure you post your report as a reply to this thread. Once you have done so, I will do my best to fix the issue and put out a fix for it.
This is a great pack I personally am in love with all the artistic choices and every single feature included into this wonderful, well-made pack. I have used countless other shaders prior to discovering this pack, and while they were all skillful displays of creativity and deep knowledge of GLSL, this Chroma Shaders by Sergeant Sarcasm exhibits in my opinion the highest caliber of shaders. It is an ingenious mix of realism and artistic sense. If this does not align with what most would consider top quality, then at the very least it is a superb pack in my own humble opinion. I look forward to further gameplay and use of this pack, and am even more excited for Sergeant Sarcasm's future endeavors in the shader community. Perhaps the most striking feature of this shaders pack is the immaculate interpretation of depth of field. I have never seen anything like it and I hope this becomes a standard for all other shader developers. Once again I highly recommend trying this pack. It is truly art and the skill displayed in it shows Sergeant Sarcasm's deep sense of not only coding, but also graphic design, camerawork, and the art of making sweet, sweet love.
Does this work on Intel? I'm using Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500.
EDIT: WIll you add Intel/MAC support on the next version? quite sad that Both can't run all shaders.
I'm working on a new from scratch version that should be a bit easier to run for all machines, though I'll look into getting support for Intel HD Graphics and Macs once I get some people that are able to playtest. Only problem is I don't have any machines that I can really test this with besides running on HD graphics from my CPU and disabling my GPU, and as far as Macs go the only system I have access to is a couple Macbooks that don't belong to me. Compatibility for all systems is a priority to me though, just at this point making compatibility for those systems is difficult especially when in mid conversion to a new PC.

I really love these shaders, what throws me off is that shadows/darkness/night is way too dark. I tried messing with settings and it hasn't changed anything. beautiful shaders nonetheless. The best cinematic experience
Which is how it should always look like while inside. it looks like all the lights just depend on sunlight but im not sure
It's an issue with my auto exposure, I'm fixing it in v2.0
The release for v2 should be fairly soon, it's a complete rewrite with new features such as HQ_DOF, new filters, volumetric ground fog based off of 3D noise, a completely editable lens flare image and bokeh DOF offset, accurate to camera DoF settings with adjustable F/Stop, and a much better image overall. Here's a few teaser images: http://imgur.com/a/RBapm

Looks amazing, can't wait. Any dev previews you'd like to share? Also have you tried adding HBAO as well if that's possible?And consider adding camera shake and hand jitter like from KUDA Shaders;

if you do, then it'll be the perfect shaders
I've considered adding those things, though as far as HBAO goes it's a bit more complicated than you think. I believe the only pack that has it right now is Ebin, and it's all physically based and confusing.

Ahh okay, its looking good! its gotten much more worse performance wise though i don't have the best computer in the world, but i shouldn't get 10 fps on a 960 with dof on and effects/filters on. I see some effects were removed or changed around. I would've preferred if you kept chromatic aberration. It's one of my favorite effects usually the first thing I look for while looking for shaders. But a lot of the issues were fixed, though more issues were introduced.
with DoF (hq dof ive only tried) this happens with whatever is in your hand if its enchanted:
Also DoF introduced A LOT of performance issues. I never had a drop or increase of FPS with it on or off. Though I love how it looks now, i still loved the old way though. I can see this being improved on a lot. I'll find more issues and report back

That's GR8 (Great).
Don't get me wrong.
And can you please make it a bit less bright? it's too bright for me. (I've messed around the settings but I couldn't find the option)
I'm TheCoolSteveMan, you can call me CSM for short!
Sure, I can make an exposure setting in my next release.
You ask permission to robobo1221 to use his shaderpack as a base right?

Better Foliage Mod.

nights are VERY dark no matter what the settings are and also this:
