And also I got the mod, and I can see my body!!!! But I can also see my old minecraft hand, so if I have a sword in my left hand, that means I have 2 swords in 2 left hands.
The mods I have are:
Forge (obvously), Optifine, Shoulder Surfing RELOADED, Mo' Bends, and this. (im on 1.10.2)
Im getting all these mods so I can go on the shotbow server and play mine theft auto with the real gta feel.
EDIT: Its not the mods fault I get 4 hands when I only have this on.

The GUI. To make RFPR work with shaders I have to do some funny stuff with the GUI. I'll see what I can do about making it play nice with other GUI things when shaders are off, but shaders will always cause troubles. It's not my fault that the shaders system doesn't call RenderHandEvent and renders the hand no matter what. Blame the coder of Optifine/Shadersmod for ignoring the event system in place.
The hand system. Whenever you call the code to render an item in your hand, you are also calling a segment of code that renders your hand itself. Minecraft considers the player 'hand' to be the physical hand/arm, as well as the item in said hand. This means that when I render a map, two hands will be rendered regardless of the status of the model or whether it's even being rendered. This makes it impossible for me to simply render an item without a hand. Get used to the disabling system, and blame Mojang for bundling functions together.
Hey can you please make this more compatible with Mo' Bends 1.10? The bow is wierd and sometimes the pickaxe animation glitches too, and its hard to see my fists, sword, or axe swinging when fighting.
Ok, I've read trough the previous posts but i cant seem to find an answer to this : your "old" hands are still visible in first person, how can i turn them off ? Tried it with/without shaders, with/without mobends and nothing...
Not really keen on adding another mod to my plate right now. I'm still not sure if RFPR is bug-free, and one of the mods I have an addition for has just updated, so I've got to tweak the addition to work with the new version. Not to mention MFS, a one-off mod for another modder, and a personal MC project.
@hexjam14
Mojang loves making everything a separate function, but sometimes they go too far in the other direction to compensate. Granted, they probably didn't think anyone would be poking around with the rendering code besides themselves.
As to your issue, how am I supposed to know what's going wrong? I don't mod with Mo' Bends installed, so how am I going to know what a 'glitchy pickaxe looks like'? Photos and/or videos are quite helpful here.
@VL4DS3R
You might have cycled through the view system and gotten stuck on the one that disables RFPR. There's 4 different modes, all of which are cycled through when you press F1. Try that a few times and see if your problem persists.

I mentioned that i have both visible at the same time, not that i cant see the RFPR body. Also cycling the view modes the best i can get is to disable my hud entirely (old hands included) so as i can see only the new body, but not having the hotbar and the hud is kinda dumb... I was trying to figure out if this isnt yet finnished (and thus my bug) or if there is a setting or incompatibility with something that im not aware of ?
EDIT: i finally managed to figure out that it was the shader compatibility option (ctrl+f1) that was causing trouble. But as the author said, its buggy... sigh, i guess illl have to wait untill they manage to fix it.
I'm just going to say this once, but you people better listen up:
IF YOU ARE USING SHADERS, YOU WILL HAVE BUGS! READ THE OP!
RFPR is 100% compatible with normal Forge and most other mods. Shaders is the one exception where I have to hack up the rendering system to get things to work. I've added a compatibility option to help remedy this, but it's not perfect. If you see both your hand and your body while playing, it's shaders causing problems.
Other mod compatibility bugs I'm happy to address, but you'll have to provide me with pictures. It's nearly impossible to try to fix a compatibility issue with another mod if all you tell me is, "it doesn't work". Nondescript bug reports will be ignored.
Problem with 1.1.2 version when used with WAWLA mod, it only says "entity.rfpr.PlayerDummy.name" instead of displaying the name of the block that I am actually looking at. I couldn't find any other way to report this bug.
Do they usually show the aura in first-person and third-person, or just first-person? Or are they like potions where the particles spawn the same no matter what?

Oh dear. That's fixable, but will take a bit of poking to ensure I don't botch up the rendering system. Is it just version 1.1.2 that does this; i.e. has it worked before and just now broke?
Can't seem to reproduce the bug on my end. Maybe it's a version issue? Either way, I've just uploaded a new version that should, in theory, fix the WAILA issue. Let me know how version 7.2.0 works and we can go from there.

Without RFPR, Ars Magica uses its own first person model, using ur hand with the spell aura at the end. for third person, it renders the spell aura as it would any other item
this is y, in an earlier post on the same thing but without SS, I said its likely a problem with Ars Magica, not RFPR.
Quick note, the spell aura doesn't appear at the end of the "hand" in RFPR, but over your shoulder
Since the spell aura appears at the same place whether the hand is visible or not, I'll assume that Ars Magica uses the event system a bit differently from RFPR. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do on my end to fix the spell system. However, let me add that this is not a fault or bug on Ars Magica, rather it is simply an incompatibility.

Hey Don! I'm not sure if you've already seen it/have a solution to it but can you add support to Mo' Bends 1.10 whenever you have the chance? I have this weird glitch that I can see my own head when moving... especially when I look down...
I just noticed that the hotbar starts spazzing out too (sometimes turning black completely or having a red tint). I'm using 1.10.2 and Sildur's Vibrant Shaders 1.153 Extreme. I also tried this without the shaders and the problem was still there.
Thanks again!

Wait really? Woah... Thx for giving me that advice! Although I think I have the updated versions, can you tell me how to make the custom animations? Or offer me the link to where you can see how? Thx again!

the extra arm in the casting picture (the 2nd 1) is the "arm" ars magica uses when holding a spell. normally, holding items never brings up the hand itself (no RFPR, not ars magica spells), but ars magica has the hand as part of the item render
the arm in this image is, by coding, not the arm rendered when empty-handed
I was thinking maybe you could do some code overriding?
random note, this image shows a hacked/cheated spell
It has been done already. its right now updated to 1.10.2

Thx for the reply SEUS Shaders made a comflict, thats wierd, why would mojang bundle the graphics with the hands? Huh.

Would it be possible to add compatibility with Armourer's Workshop by making skins in the head slot invisible?

if you are able to create a good pack, pls post it!

So let me make sure I have this straight.
RFPR renders the body just fine. The regular 2D arm is gone when holding an item like it should be.
But: when you cast a spell the 3D arm show up, causing you to have a second arm for a moment?
