Something else I've noticed. I upgraded to the latest version, and it seems the Crusher and Furnace don't use any energy during operation. The internal buffer didn't change, and the storage cell they are hooked up to didn't lose energy either. All three had full internal energies.

I'll have a look into this. Thanks and keep up the good work
So...how am I supposed to connect the energy pipes, exactly? I made energy interface pipes, but they don't connect to any of the machines, only to each other. Doesn't matter if I specifically set each side of the pipe to output or input. Simply put, nothing transfers RF from the generator to the machines. I can't just put them adjacent to the generator either, nothing I try seems to do anything.
I know how to access the GUI for the pipes with the wrench, and that I need to power the Thermal Binder so I can attach upgrades to motherboards...but I can't get any power to the machine, so I'm kind of stuck.

I've never heard of this before. Can you provide a screenshot?
The energy interface pipe does not connect to the neotech machines!
The pipe was set to output.
No power at all going into the machine.
There is power in the generator
Also the pipe does connect to coal generator from RFTools
Hope it helps.. And also it broke in the latest update.. as it worked fine before..
The only thing I can think is that something is changing our pipes. This issue does not happen for us in dev world or our test server. Can you try making a new world and seeing if they still don't connect?
Same, nothing I tried would work, even after removing RF Tools, just in case there was a conflict.
I did notice however that any Buildcraft pipe or machine connecting to something from NeoTech will immediately crash the game. Whether it's putting a wooden kinesis pipe to the furnace generator, or trying to use a Buildcraft engine to power a NeoTech machine/energy storage. Not sure if you knew about this issue or not. I didn't plan to mix the two mods anyway, just didn't expect a complete game crash x.X
I still plan on using NeoTech's grinder at least, early game ore doubling is awesome
On a clean install of FTB Unstable it works fine for me. Maybe try doing a new profile. There may be some issues with old worlds or versions. Not sure what is going on for those of you.

This version needs McJtyLib 1.8.1beta6 and uses the new official RF API. Do *not* add this mod to your modpack unless you have confirmed that all other RF using mods have been ported or work on the new API!

It seems his "official" api is the one in his library. There is no offical RF api for 1.8.9 so I'm not sure what they are saying

I am loving the simplicity of this mod!!!
is there any chance to get "opaque" versions of the pipes that skip animations? similar to how the fluidducts/itemducts work in thermal dynamics?
Are you having lag issues or just a personal preference?
So...how am I supposed to connect the energy pipes, exactly? I made energy interface pipes, but they don't connect to any of the machines, only to each other. Doesn't matter if I specifically set each side of the pipe to output or input. Simply put, nothing transfers RF from the generator to the machines. Yea pipes dont work i just put solar panels on the stuff that needs it for now.

I did notice however that any Buildcraft pipe or machine connecting to something from NeoTech will immediately crash the game. Those with issues, try with the new neotech and bookshelf listed below
http://teambrmodding.com:8080/job/NeoTech/87/artifact/build/libs/NeoTech-1.8.9-2.3.4-B87.jar
http://teambrmodding.com:8080/job/Bookshelf API 1.8.9/18/artifact/build/libs/Bookshelf-1.8.9-2.2.9-B18.jar
On a clean install of FTB Unstable it works fine for me. Maybe try doing a new profile. There may be some issues with old worlds or versions. Not sure what is going on for those of you.

I found what mod make your pipes not work. If i take out the 3 listed below they work fine.
rftools-1.8.9-4.22beta18
rftoolsdim-1.8.9-4.22beta20
mcjtylib-1.8.9-1.8.1beta6
Thos mods changelog say this
It seems his "official" api is the one in his library. There is no offical RF api for 1.8.9 so I'm not sure what they are saying
Think they meen this https://twitter.com/TeamCoFH/status/697323534251659268
Well that is interesting. I guess we will update to that
So its finally arrived.
