Well unfortunately, we're not made of money and can't possibly afford a server without at least minimal help from the community, who it'd be for to begin with. Not to even mention the perks that came along with donating.
Why not taking a "business-like" approach like Mineplex and The Hive? Organize a team and start creating mini-games, ranks, Easter eggs and other type of fun stuff in a world-like map resembling the urban area of Naboo, a part of Courscant and/or Tatooine? You can start gaining a little bit of money there; save it and then take a shot for the official PSWM server! Just an idea

Because we're too busy trying to make an actual mod, which is a whole heap more work than maintaining a server. We have neither the manpower* or the time to set up and maintain this "business-like" appproach that has no guarentees of actually helping us develop a mod or server.
*We're not looking to add people to our team at this time. We're a local, centralized team who works really well together and adding more people is impossible.
Hello, I'm just here to probably make a few suggestions about the mod, along with asking some questions about it.
I'm curious if there will be an improvement on the force abilities along with mixing a few of them? (By this I mean will it be possible to use force grab multiple targets at different times while keep one in place, and turning that into a force choke, ya know being able to use certain ones after you already used one. And yes, this kind of does make me curious if there will be such abilities as Force choke, and a Force Push option after you grab someone mid air, and will Force Lightening added to the mod eventually?)
Another question I have is on the topic of lightsaber combat, will there ever be the possibility of being able to damage certain players limbs with lightsabers, such as severing them off, which could lead to the need for players to get cybernetic limb replacements etc? Giving Bacta-tanks more of a use for them to maintain themselves. It would just be cool to have a sort of battle damage look eventually, throughout the times in the mod. And it would sort of add to a bit more to the R.P aspects of the mod itself overall, and give players some other things to do. (Probably would add an alternative options for taking a player down without having to kill them perhaps?)
I'm also wondering if the Jedi and Sith Robes will eventually hide the player's who is wearing them, names from other players, which would give more of a reason for wearing them at least, besides for R.P. reasons.
The last few things that I can really think about would be if there would be the different Jedi and Sith Forms/Fighting styles added to the game which would come with animations to coincide with them? This would at least add to some skill level gaps to a degree with people who know how to use the forms properly and add more reasons to grind for exp by doing quests to level up their fighting techniques. So somehow mid-combat a players animations for attacking would change and they would do different types of swings, which would lead for it being up to his opponents to be prepared to deal with that. I know that I for one would love to eventually see The Emperor's, Palpatine's, fighting style Form VII, Juyo, implemented into the mod eventually, since it would be cool to see the fast paced flipping and countering that players would have to do.
Maybe it would cost some sort of stamina system depending on the types of Combat Forms you use would allow for a difference in the amount of Force Energy it would cost for prolonged periods of combat. Nothing too draining since you want people to be able to use their force powers mid fight as well to make it not seem like a glass cannon situation with a one and done attack effort.
Hmm, I guess to answer the question on how to switch between these forms maybe select one as your primary and cycle through them using a hot key after you select the main one(s) that one would use in combat?

But I'm mainly wondering about the whole idea about getting robotic, cybernetic robotic limbs thing though? (Even though it would mainly be used for the whole RP aspect of it though, I don't care too much for the whole gore thing, though it would be cool to simply have negative consequences for getting into a drawn out saber fight.)

Idk man, we have a lot of other stuff we'd rather add than specific lightsaber combat styles, especially seeing as how that would all be custom animation stuff that would take a ton of time. As for losing and having to replace limbs, that will probably never happen just because of how weird that would be to code, but again, who knows

If it's for RP reasons there's no reason why you wouldn't be able to just manually modify your own skins to account for damages instead of asking for it to all be mod dependent. It's not lack of ability or interest, it's all about time, and seeing as how we're currently in the process of moving to 1.11, we have a lot more to worry about right now. Would we like to do it, sure yeah it'd be cool, but think about all the extra math and tracking happening on everything, calculating damage values based on hit box locations in 3D space, and then overwrite all of the minecraft vanilla rendering for that arm and make you unable to use any tools in that hand, not to mention you would be unable to use any items if you lost your right hand and trying to overcome minecraft's newer dual wield but limited functionality code would be an entirely different beast. We don't want to do it because of time, but if at some point we think we have the time, then sure we'll give it a shot, but we would like to add more meaningful star wars content than limb damage which could really be it's own mod on it's own.
