If anyone could help me with this please that would be great. I don't know if it's just me, but there are a few types of the quicksand that do not load. List: Bog, Acid, Tar, Dry Quicksand, Jungle Quicksand, Liquid Mire, Mucus, and Sinking Slime. What I mean when I say "don't load" is that, the blocks actually are like, place-able and I can interact with them (place, walk, sink), but the textures on them don't load. All I see is air. Help? The picture is a patch of Dry Quicksand.
Thanks! Apparently it is OptiFine. I uninstalled it and it works fine now! Thanks for the help, (to be honest, I wasn't expecting anyone to reply, so thanks a lot)
Now I have to get used to 30 FPS. Omg Minecraft is so slow without Optifine. xD
Yes, hello? Wonderful mod you have there, Mr. Goo! I seem to have
stumbled across a compatibility issue with this mod and the Dr. Zhark's
Mo Creatures mod. They both work together good, however, I noticed that
when MFQ is installed, it completely disables Dr. Zhark's Horses, and I
can't spawn them in through commands, or spawn eggs, nor could they be
spawned naturally at all. Is it possible for you to fix it? Sorry if it's a tedious task. Is it possible for you to make a version with completely removing the Vore Slimes?
I think they might be the problem with compatibility, but other than
that, It's what I seek to be fixed. I don't want to remove this mod from
my survival world, while keeping the other. Again, is it possible to
fix the incompatibility between your mod and the Mo' Creatures? Thanks,
if you do.
Has no any trouble with Dr. Zhark's Mo Creatures mod. Used and using it both in same time. And... Don't blame poor Slimes, they is my part of mod, my Entity. If any mod conflict with, this is its problem, not my But as I told there is no any conflicts with THIS mod (Dr. Zhark's Mo Creatures)
Great mod, however I am having a strange problem.
Mud, when mined is dropping item ID 4321 Elephant garment from MoCreatures. This item is a crafted item and not a drop from a block and looking
in the configs of both mods doesnt seem to un cover any resolution.
Have you heard of this before and what is your advice?
Many Thanks
It's impossible for 1.7.10... can be an issue in 1.6.4
It's a good mod except for these things: Slimes drop way too many slime
balls and mud balls, and the spawn rate (for me at least) is out of
control. i'm sitting here trying to mine and I hear around 15 different
slime slopping around, its very annoying -_-. it only seems to happen
underground though, above ground it may be an annoyance, but at least I
only see maybe 3 at a time at most. Oh btw i'm using 1.7.10 so that
might be my problem as well :/.
Darn~ You are completely right! X3
Tried at myself and.. already fixed ^^'
I dont care If you add more stuff, the mod is perfect the way it is. What I want is for you to update it to 1.8 and such.
Update, update, update... To 1.8, 1.9, 2.0... what next?
This update from 1.6.4 to 1.7.10 was REALLY hard thing, even without additional stuff.
Sadly, I am too busy with my job, RL, and current development. I don't tell "Good bye" but freeze this development at uncounted period.
I can't seem to find those plant-flower things in the jungle at all, would it be possible to up their spawn rate?
I was also wondering if it would be possible to mod the slimes to stop doing damage to the player once you get -really- low on HP, in order to keep you stuck for a length period of time compared to the experience we have with the slimes, or atleast set it to some sort of timer of inactivity before they finish the player off.
Was also wondering what sounds you used for the slimes, I think they're wonderful.
I'm using Rei's Minimap with this mod, and sometimes whenever I quit and join another world, none of the textures load correctly on the minimap. Morass loads as like a brown and then different types of Morass load in grey. Mud becomes a blackish, and mire is the same color, funny thing is though, moor is a yellow instead of green. The only way to fix it is by reloading the game. Is there a workaround that anyone knows of?

Mucus Blossom... Well, I find this flower very often in jungles (can't tell same bout Wax XD) Just you had small/hilling jungle or unlucky. Anyway you always can plant and grow up it where you want. Use instruction in its description, first post.
About Slimes. Your suggestion is impossible to do. Not so impossible, but exactly this damage stops players for trying getting out. any attempt to dismount from Slime has chance to get damage from them. That is only one way to "get stuck" player in them.

I have noticed your English isnt very good. Im not trying to be racist, and im not trying to insult anyone. I was wondering, if i could help with the translations? Some mistakes include,
Wax: It's melting in hands
When it should be:
Wax: Its melting in your hands.
Im sure I would find alot more mistakes, and it would make the mod more professional.
I have an idea for a new type of quicksand: The Grass Bed. It is a dry, thick bed of dead grass. It has some flowers in it, and looks like grass, but more stale. It has partial solidity, and you can walk on it for 1 second. While you can stand on it, you are slowed down a little. After that 1 second, you sink in very fast and can be chest deep in a second. It has low suction, the only suction coming from the tangled grass. The Thickness is very low, and the Viscosity is low. It can spawn in forests, birch forests, flower forests, jungles, roofed forests, plains, (mostly) flower plains, and Rarely in taiga and mega taiga. It makes the grass breaking sound when you begin to sink, and while you are sinking, it sounds like punching grass.
Really cool looking mod! I had my doubts at first, just the thought of who needs 25 types of quicksand, but i think you pulled this off. I've just got a couple questions and comments!
1: to what extent can these things be utilized or moved by players? Theres the obvious idea of weird base defenses, but I want to know because I've been putting off building a Zerg hive living building thing for a while and those nether fleshmaws would be perfect for it, but they don't look very relocatable.
2: You know that like, tar pits aren't actually hot right? Thats just an urban legend. They're ground temperature. Its made of petroleum that the lighter hydrocarbons have left, leaving a puddle of heavy oils, asphalt, and goo - so theoretically, a decently effective power source still? Just... not for the reason you have listed here.
I dunno, you were pretty in depth on this stuff so I thought you'd appreciate the scientific approach on that one.

... kid, listen. i know your new here. so im going to cut you some slack. he says hes not going to update to 1.8 and that hes going to freeze development. so if you really want this mod THAT bad that youll ask him to REBUILD the ENTIRE mod to compinsate for the features and forge... try just downgrading to the version that this mod is on. and read replys by the mod author that answer questions like yours. sorry if you take offence... (i dont know HOW you'll take offence but just in case.)
Are you planning on updating to minecraft 1.8?
I'm afraid to leave my house now without one of those poles and a life jacket. Awesome mod. Very very awesome.
If anyone could help me with this please that would be great. I don't know if it's just me, but there are a few types of the quicksand that do not load. are you going to be adding any more structures or mobs that will eat you? or any new quicksands? OR MAYBE BOTH!
Hidden bug-fix
Little fixed some issue with configs and spawn rate of Slimes... Why I did this? Only for self XD
I am sorry, but I am not planning continue development. Just use that already exist
I dont care If you add more stuff, the mod is perfect the way it is. What I want is for you to update it to 1.8 and such.

Dude, MrBlackGoo you are very awesome nice job on how the mod works and how you made all of these types of quicksand
what are the Temp blocks for?
can you update this to 1.9.4 plz
... kid, listen. i know your new here. so im going to cut you some slack. he says hes not going to update to 1.8 and that hes going to freeze development. so if you really want this mod THAT bad that youll ask him to REBUILD the ENTIRE mod to compinsate for the features and forge... try just downgrading to the version that this mod is on. and read replys by the mod author that answer questions like yours. sorry if you take offence... (i dont know HOW you'll take offence but just in case.)
