This mod adds three types of worlds that players can access by crafting the corresponding portals:Mining Portal, Void Portal and Garden Portal.
Each crafted portal will - when first activated by right-clicking - create a new dimension and transport the player there.
At the location where the player arrives in the new dimension, a Return Portal is placed. Use this to return to your crafted portal.
Portal blocks can be picked up and moved, even to other dimensions.
Return Portals can only be moved within the dimension they were generated.
Server OPs can right-click a new (not yet activated) portal while sneaking to forcibly link to an existing dimension, using a GUI. Linking from within a Utility Worlds dimension to the overworld (via GUI) should be used with caution. The created overworld portal can be in a bad location.
Common for all worlds
No weather.
Always noon (sun at zenith).
Mining World characteristics
Completely flat.
No caves, water or lava. Note that other mods may override this behavior, there is no attempt to prevent this.
Five layers of flat bedrock.
Ore generation and mob spawning as in Extreme Hills.
Void World characteristics
Black sky (star brightness is configurable, default is no stars).
Considered a plains biome.
No structures.
9 x 9 stone platform where the Return Portal is created.
Garden World characteristics
Completely flat.
Only consists of 4 layers of dirt on a single layer of bedrock.
Void worlds are a good place to build bases since the lack of anything else in the age makes it so there's a lot less lag. This is particularly helpful if you're playing a tech related modpack such as the FTB modpacks since building a big base in the overworld can get laggy.
Unrelated.. Can anyone tell me what the config for this mod is named? I can't seem to find it. I just want to make sure there's no conflicts with dimension IDs.

There is no config file at the moment (nothing is configurable). The id for each new dimension is dynamically allocated using Forge's dimension manager, so there shouldn't be any conflicts. The dimension id isn't allocated until the portal is used.

Alrighty, thanks. I had issues with Twilight Forest and Factorization having conflicting dimension IDs causing any unexplored land in Twilight Forest to turn into the void. I just wanted to avoid having an issue like that again.

Thank you for making a mod spotlight! If you provide a download link with your video, then please use the curse or curseforge ones instead of putting my mod behind your adfly link. Thanks again.
Great mod man! Really enjoying the void dimension. Found a small, possible bug. Not sure if this is on your end or not but there are ghasts from the SpecialMobs mod that are spawning in both the void and mining dimension.

Thanks. I haven't used it myself, but from what I've read about the SpecialMobs mod, it sometimes spawns special variants of mobs. There shouldn't be any ghasts spawning in either dimension type though. Both the Mining and Void world should currently get the same mobs as in Extreme Hills.
If SpecialMobs (or some other mod) is modifying that biome somehow, that could be the reason they are spawning.
i was wondering though, is there anyway to add terrain to the void world?
i'd like to have my base in a dessert and don't seem to be able to use mcedit to edit the void world?
maybe the mc could add a chunk loading wand or somethink to allow for more creation options in the void?
Sorry, it's not possible right now to add terrain in the void world, without building it yourself.
The feature you describe will most likely not get added to this mod, since it would require significant effort and sort of goes against the concept of a void world.
If you want more options when creating dimensions, you might want to try RFTools and/or Mystcraft.
I am trying to get meteors from Applied Energistics 2 to spawn in the mining world so they don't make a mess of the overworld but is does not look like they are spawning. I looked around and used the meteorite compass and I have not been able find any. Something that might be a similar issue is https://github.com/micdoodle8/Galacticraft/issues/1547. I hope that this can be fixed if it is an issue on your side.
Also the Ghast spawning in the dimensions might be from "overworld_ghast_mount=1".

The meteors are actually disabled in the mining worlds to keep them from making a mess there, so "broken as intended" at this point.
I have the meteors completely disabled myself, and instead added in some recipes for the presses with MineTweaker.
I will probably make the AE2 meteors a config option in the next version (there are no settings at all right now, so no config file).
Thanks, kind of ironic that you did not want them to spawn there because they make a mess and I want them to spawn there because they make a mess. I would rather have the mess in a flat world than the overworld. Thanks for adding the config option.
Love the mod, thanks. I'm going for a world where i build up a self sustaining space ship and using your void dimension to make the ship in, but it seems off without the stars. Do you have plans to put in a config file? If so I (obviously :P) wanted to suggest an option to toggle the starfield on and off, unless I'm missing something obvious that will bring it back.

This sounds like a pretty cool mod. I'll give it a shot.

Great! I will admit I don't understand Italian, but thanks a lot!
