Let me introduce you to my newest mod, QuantumFlux - a way to wireless power anything! There are a couple of ways to generate and store RF, but the core of the mod is wireless transmission of power...oh, and an awesome looking set of armor.
Take a look at the wiki for a full list, but in summary:
Zero Point Extractor: A way to extract energy from the Void itself
Quantum Entropy Accelerator: An efficient and clean early game way to make power
Quibit Clusters: Store RF internally to be used later
Quantum RF Entangler: Tap into the all permeating Redflux Field to store energy to be accessed wirelessly from anywhere
Quantum RF Exciter: Used in conjunction with the Quantum RF Entangler to move RF wirelessly over vast distances
Quibit Cell: When activated (sneak+right click) it will charge any item in your inventory that is powered by RF
Dependecies: the 1.7.10 version need CoFH Lib. 1.8.9 and 1.9 have none
This is a really useful mod. Would it be possible for the quibit cell to charge items in whatever inventory it is in, like a chest for example? I'm not sure if that would fit with "balance" and all, but it would be a really cool feature.
You know, I had this same idea about eight months ago, but I didn't know my way around the MC code to bring it to reality: https://github.com/capSAR273/OmniRouter
Good luck, and if you need any concept ideas let me know! I'll be keeping watch on how your mod turns out, I wish I had the knowledge to create my idea of this
2: if it is meant to replace cables like you said in your video than maybe you should make it so that you can link the quantum RF exciter using some tool thingy to any RF accepting machine within a couple of blocks (4 block rang?) other wise it is just like a sort of expensive full block cable that acts like a tesseract, but that is just my opinion
3: If i did my math right it takes 938 diamonds to make a Quibit Cluster Level 5. ARE YOU INSANE!. If you are i must be to cause that seems fair to me :$
Well any way keep up the great work
I got several things to say to you.
1: vary cool mod well done

I am working on making the RF Exciters not be a full block and more of an add-on you slap on other blocks. I considered having them power any RF machine within a given range, but I didn't like that. It felt too cheaty to me. Yes they are a fair bit more expensive than cables, but shouldn't need near as many of them.

very nice mod!
My only concern is when playing on public servers, as the wireless transferring capabilities would be mostly useless since everyone would be on the same network. Not sure whether or not that is an intentional mechanic, but it is something to consider.
There are two things I really like about this mod, the first is that everything is sourced in vanilla materials and achieved simply through crafting. This is great for several reasons, one of which is auto-adding of aspects and EMC values from other mods. It's also nice because it doesn't just cram an extra unnecessary mechanic or block or ore into the game. The other thing I like about this mod is it's textures. I know you said they were going to be changed, but I like the ones it has. Granted, it would look better if thee top and bottom of the blocks had different textures than the sides, but I like the style you're using.
I definitely plan on using this mod. I have a feeling it would mesh well with draconic evolution.
I put together a video detailing the changes as well as explains how energy moves across the RedfuxField. With any luck it will help clear up some confusion.
Right now, the Clusters don't "push" energy out. They require a cable that pulls from it. Something like an Energy Extraction Pipe from Extra Utilities will work on it. You can watch the issue here to see when it is fixed.
Cool looking mod, I noticed your mod can use steel from other mods, is it possible to give a config option so I can disable your steel recipe and use that of other mods, since your's seems a little easy and could be exploited for use in other mods (eg. to create steel for use in railcraft therefore avoiding the creation of a blast furnace)
TBH, I am never really interested in making changes that that. My Steel recipe is very similar to the old Thermal Expansion recipe, and if you don't like it there are 2 options I can think of off the top of my head.
1) Use minetweaker to change it
2) don't use it
That being said, I have been floating around the idea of making a "hard" mode in the config which would change all the recipes. I logged an improvement for this while I think about it. Feel free to follow it and comment on it if you have specific ideas. https://github.com/joekaiser/QuantumFlux/issues/15

Now, what one COULD do is put a block NEXT TO an inventory and charge items inside said inventory that way, but that's just being silly.

Awesome Minecraft mod! clicky!
All entangler/exciter pairs are locked to whoever placed it. No one can steal from it without taking the block
I think the general concept of the texture ill stay the same. They will jusr be tweaked to be mkre unique ler block
I really like sticking to vanila stuff to. Extra world gen and machines to make one item seem silly to me
1.1.0 hot off the build server! Get it from Curseforge

Wow... nicely done. Textures look awesome, by the way.

With Jotato being the main I had to download this and check it out!

Thanks for the update, I love your mod and I am not really a fan of changing peoples recipes with minetweaker.
I like hard modes, so I support that idea.
Keep up the great work.
