This Client Side add-on to Thaumcraft allows you to automatically keep track of nodes you have scanned with the Thaumometer. If you have already scanned the node, it will update the list with any changes in the node.
An in game list allows you to see nodes you have scanned and sorts them by Aspect (Primal Only) and distance from player.
If you are wearing the Goggles of Revealing you can also select the node and get an in game arrow pointing you in the nodes direction. Also works with most mod Googles that act as Goggles of Revealing
This is a CLIENT SIDE only mod.
Mod Packs
Feel free to include this in modpacks. Just remember it is client side only. It would be nice to get a PM if you do include it, as it makes me feel good inside, but its not required

Goalie - Giving me the idea
Lizard, Dominance, Wabbit, Beef - For there constant support!
Any chance you might be able to discern the other properties of a node? Bright, Hungry, Sinister, etc? Maybe allow tracking by (and filtering of - hidden by default of course) the compound aspects?
Still an amazing mod, and as-is it's AMAZINGLY useful.
The code for including the node type is basically complete already. Just fixing a small issue with how Thaumcraft gives the node type. Should be ready for the next release.
As for compound aspects, its something I thought about. For now, its not going to happen as I have a few things I still need to do, adding scroll bars for if the list gets large, but I will re look at it once I am happy with the finish product at this state.
a minor suggestion. a hungry node "warning" system of sorts. when you get affected by the pull of the node it will auto highlight it. warning that you are a bit to close?

I will have to look into that. Your not the first person to suggest it so it might be worth it. Once I get the little tweaks I want to finish I will see if its even possible.
Would be nice if it could add already scanned nodes. Not sure how thaumcraft stores that data.
I really want to keep this a Client Side only mod. For me to be able to even think of adding that I would have to have add server side code. Thanks for the suggestion though.
No idea why, but I can't get the arrows pointing to nodes. I wore goggles and clicked on "Mark", no dice
The list UI is a bit unintuitive. The fact that you have to click on an aspect to show anything and update the info needs imo improvement. The list should default to unfiltered and update whenever you open it
Regarding nodes with compound aspects, how about just stating the fact? I mean, have a column that's basically "Has compound aspect(s)" -> Y/N
Hmm, your the first to report not seeing the arrow. When you click Mark, did it close the gui screen?
I will take a look at that. Before I can show all nodes, I will have to implement the scrolling for the list which I am already working on. What version are you using as I thought I added updating whenever you open it. Will double check.
Thats actually not a bad idea about the compound aspects. Let me take a look and I might add that. Its a good compromise as I dont really want to track each individual compound.
Pretty neat and useful mod, it's a very nice alternative to littering the area with waypoints.
I have noticed that the alignment of the various primal aspects seems to be off when I maximize my window though. No issues if I'm playing in windowed mode.

Are you using the new version 0.99-RC-1? I have fixed that issue (I hope) in the new version to be fixed width even when you maximize.
I was using the previous beta version when I tested. I retested with the new 0.99-RC-1 but the alignment still seems to be a bit off. The node that I found while testing contained Aer, Aqua and Ordo.

Hmm... Ok that is weird. I am currently doing a small redo on the List Gui right now, so hopefully that will fix it. Are you on a PC, Mac, or Linux(Unix) machine? Looks like for some reason the Arial font you have is different. I am probably going to switch back to default MC font to solve any issues like this.
I'm on a PC, running Windows 7. My Arial font should be standard, although now that you mention it I am running in a Japanese locale rather than English which could be adversely interfering with how the font is displayed.

Ok I think I have the issue fixed. 0.99-RC-2 is now available and I changed back to the default MC font and size. Let me know if the Issue has gone away.

Everything is aligned perfectly now, and the increased size makes it much easier to read. Thanks so much for the update =)

What language is that in and do you mind if I link it up top in my main post?
