I'd like to announce RFTools for 1.7.10, 1.8.9 and 1.9. This mod adds a number of machines and items that are useful in an RF (Redflux) based environment.
The basic idea of this mod is to provide various items and tools that will make it easier for people to manage big RF networks and help with tech builds in general. This mod is not meant to be used on its own. You should use it together with mods like Thermal Expansion, EnderIO, and so on.
In addition to tools to help with RF this mod also contains a few major systems for teleportation (a bit similar to Star Trek, not with regular portals) as well as a fully featured dimension building system.
Description
The following items and blocks are present in the current version of this mod:
RFTools Manual: an in-game craftable manual for this mod.
RF Network Monitor: with this item you can check out the RF situation in a set of connected blocks and find out where all the energy is going.
RF Monitor: this block can monitor the RF situation in another block near it (3x3x3 area). It gives a visual representation of the amount of RF in the block and can also send out a redstone signal under certain conditions.
Crafter: this is an automatic crafter that can handle up to 8 recipes at once and also allows crafting recipes to use the results of earlier recipes in the same machine.
Scanner: with this block you can make it easier to find your stuff in your storage network.
Power Relay: with this block you can throttle down a part of your power network in case a redstone signal is given (or not). This can be used (in combination with the RF Monitor) to turn off ore procession (for example) in case your main power system doesn't have enough power.
Teleportation system: several blocks for a powerful teleportation system.
Power generation: RFTools contains a powerful but rather complicated power generation system for the more adventerous tinkerers among you.
Simple but powerful shield system that can selectively block players, mobs, items, animals and so on.
Developers Delight item. A tool for developers!
A modular screen system to display various values like energy level, fluid contents, time of the day, dimension power and so on.
A powerful mob spawner.
A Block Protector that uses RF to protect blocks against harvesting and explosions. Ideal for your Wither spawner for example or just to protect your base.
A very comprehensive and fully featured dimension builder system!
Searchable and flexible modular storage system with supports for remote access.
A powerful Builder that can move, copy, and swap structures. It can also build geometrical structures, void areas and quarry areas.
Support for Open Computers and ComputerCraft (shield, teleportation system, dimension builder and screen controller).

Bug: Int on the auto crafter doesn't seem to be working.
Make sure you select a recipe before clicking that button. The 'Keep/All' and 'Int/Ext' buttons are per recipe so they only work after selecting a recipe and these settings can be different for every recipe. I probably need to clarify that somewhat. If that's what you're doing and you still can't get it to work then let me know.

Unfortunatelly I just found a bug myself. It appears that the 1.0 version of my mod doesn't work on a server (0.04 is fine). 1.0 also works fine if you're in single player. I know what is wrong and I will fix this tomorrow.

I just uploaded a new version of RFTools with the following changes:
1.01:
Fixed a problem which caused RFTools 1.00 not to work in a server (single player was ok).
Disable the Apply, Keep, and Int buttons in the crafter when no recipe is selected. That should make it clearer that those buttons are only relevant for a given recipe.
Added chinese translation contributed by ViKaleidoscope.
Added a new Power Relay block. This block accepts RF and can send out a specific amount of RF per tick depending on a redstone signal. You can use this to turn off (or slow down) a bunch of machines in case power is low (in combination with the RF Monitor).
I moved the changelog to the wiki to make the OP more compact and relevant. Let me know if there are any problems with this version. Especially the new Power Relay block.

Pretty much using the hand tool crashed the server. Also the RF Monitor had Negative values and eventually also crashed the server when accessing the GUI. I believe this had to do with the use of Extra Utils energy transfer pipes...

Thanks a lot for your spotlight! Watching it made it clear that I may have to improve the speed of the storage scanner a bit :-)
You forgot to mention one feature and that is the that in both the storage scanner and in the RF Network Monitor (the handheld item) you can double click on the list to hilight the energy block or inventory in the world. So that makes it easy to find your machine (in case of the RF Network Monitor) or your chest/container (in case of the Storage Scanner).

I forgot that you can actually improve the speed of the scanner yourselves as it is a configuration setting. In any case, I updated the default speed (doubled it).

Just a heads up. I'm currently working on a rather complicated teleporting system. Not like the typical portals you have in many minecraft mods right now but more resembling the Star Trek matter transmittion system. It is a lot of work so that's why updates are a bit slower.

I was first considering to wait with 1.04 until the new teleporter system was ready but that would keep the RF Monitor too buggy for too long so I decided to do a new release anyway. The only notable change in this version is a fix for the RF Monitor GUI which would sometimes cause Minecraft to crash if you opened/closed the window. Other then that you'll see several new WIP blocks (work in progress) for the upcoming teleporter system. The crafting recipes have been disabled for this as it is not usable yet.

Added a new in-game manual for all items and blocks in this mod.
The major new addition is the teleportation system. This is the very first release of this part of the mod so it is likely that it still contains bugs. Let me know if you find any things that you think are bugs and I'll see how I can fix them. The in-game book as well as the wiki contains information on how to use the new teleportation system. Also note that it is not 100% ready yet. The major thing that is currently still missing is a way to control access to the teleporters. Also my graphics/modelling skills are not that nice so I still would like to see a better teleportation beam.
As the teleportation system is very very new I'd like to hear all bug reports that you can give me so that I can make it worth smooth. Also I'm looking for someone who knows how I can make a nice looking teleportation beam. The one that is currently in the mod isn't very good. Additionally I'm also looking for a nice soft humming sound for an active teleporter and a more intense sound that plays during teleportation. Thanks!

Implemented access control for both the transmitter and the receiver. See the manual for information on how it works.
When a destination analyzer block is placed next to a transmitter then the transmitter will also be able to check the status of the receiver and if there is a problem (like insufficient energy) the teleportation beam will be colored red. You can then use the dialing device to check the actual problem.
I think this mostly completes the teleportation system. Let me know if you find any bugs and issues. I still haven't added sound or better graphics but that isn't top priority right now.

Been playing around with the mod. RF Power Relay/Monitor is probably the single best addition to anything RF ever. EnderIO has an equivalent, but I found your version to be much more pleasing to use.
Teleportation System is also interesting and gives a weird star trek feel. I even constructed a teleporter room that looks somewhat identical to something out of Star Trek for the hell of it.

As the teleportation system is very very new I'd like to hear all bug reports that you can give me so that I can make it worth smooth. Also I'm looking for someone who knows how I can make a nice looking teleportation beam. The one that is currently in the mod isn't very good. Additionally I'm also looking for a nice soft humming sound for an active teleporter and a more intense sound that plays during teleportation. Thanks!

Teleportation System is also interesting and gives a weird star trek feel. I even constructed a teleporter room that looks somewhat identical to something out of Star Trek for the hell of it.
