Wawla is a Minecraft mod that greatly expands upon the functionality of Waila. Wawla provides users with a lot of various bits of information to help improve the over all modded experience. Wawla aims to document the vanilla game, and also bridge the gap between Waila and many other popular Minecraft mods. You can find extensive documentation for this mod on my site.
Due to the extensive amount of features included within Wawla, I have had to move documentation over to my own website. My site is frequently being updated with the new features, and will reflect the features within the mod as soon as updates are released.
Questions and Answers:
Q: What does this mod do?
A: This mod is an addon for Waila. The purpose of this mod, and Waila, is to give players a tooltip which contains information about the block the player is currently looking at. These mods can be extremely helpful when playing with a heavily modded minecraft modpack. Due to the enormous amount of features within Wawla, I have had to move documentation to my own website.
Q: Will this mod work on servers?
A: Both Wawla and Waila take advantage of client and server code. If Wawla is installed on your server, users that use the Wawla mod will receive much more accurate information. Wawla is a client-side optional mod, meaning that if it is installed on your server, players will not need it to connect, however they will need it if they want to use the features it provides.
Q: When on a server some information is wrong or missing, what's wrong?
A: This is an issue related to how data is synchronized in minecraft. When a player is on a server, the only data given to that player is what the server considers necessary. Because of this, some information may be missing or wrong, if the server does not have this mod installed.
Q: Can you add support for the _______ mod / Can you add _______ feature?
A: I would love to add more support and features. If you have a suggestion make sure to leave it in the comments and I will see what I can do!
Q: What is your stance on mod packs?
A: Please read my section on modpacks.

Thought I'd let ya know it's asking for a login to download :).
Sorry about that, looks like I used the FTP link rather than the public download link. The page has been updated to use the correct link this time. Thank you for letting me know about this

Thanks Cyanide, once I get everything together I am going to have another go at doing EDX support
Seems as if it's still asking me for a password and login?
EDIT: Nevermind The 'here' link is still broken though. Didn't notice the other download link. Excited to try it out!

I just checked it out again, it is pointing to the correct link. It can take a while for everyone to get up to speed once a page is changed on the internet so it may take a few minutes for it to update on your end. The mirror link will bring you to a version of the file hosted on Dropbox. The dropbox mirror should not be effected by the ftp access link.
Edit: Oh right, I forgot about the here link. That will be swapped out in a moment. Thank you for pointing this out
Edit 2: The "here" link has been updated to use the non ftp link.
Np, and is this 1.7.10 only? (Sorry if its obvious and I'm just blind)
Not much has changed between 1.7.2 and 1.7.10 so I am confident that you will be able to use parts of this mod in 1.7.2 without many issues. That being said this mod was compiled against 1.7.10 so 1.7.2 is not an officially supported version. It's also worth adding that the pixelmon addon requires the latest build at this time which is 3.2.2 and I believe that version only works with 1.7.10 although this is only an issue if you intend to use this mod along side Pixelmon.
As mentioned it will work with 1.7.2 however there may be some things that have changed between the versions that will crash. For example in 1.7.2 player heads contained the player name as simple text in the nbt data however in 1.7.10 there is a wrapper that works with the uuid of the player. This mod is compiled with 1.7.10 so if you look at a player head in 1.7.2 it will crash your game. This is also true for a few other things.
Very nice mod! hope to see more support for the other mods!
Thanks, glad you like the mod. This release was actually rushed given my current circumstances however in 1.0.1 I plan to add support for many more mods.
I had such a hard time gettin all the mods working w/o crashes but i finally got it. Wild poke natures is OP AF! You sir are incredible! Should add code chicken core to list of mods needed just in case.
Edit: Also happiness shows 0 on pokes with happiness.
Well this is a cool new add-on to the Waila mod which I already like.
Great work on this, it'll be cool to see what other new features you'll implement in the future.

For version 1.0.2 I would like to implement some modules that add information about the beacon block. I have also been thinking about some cool new redstone based tool tips. For example when holding a comparator the HUD will display the strength of the redstone that would be emited into a comparator block. I would also like to implement additional support for other mods, I have a few on my radar right now
The enchantment description seems redundant...
I mean... you're going ot have to write your own description of it.
+There's languages
As of 3.2 pixelmon will run with NEI.
As for the tooltip on enchantment books, although the screenshot only shows vanilla enchantments this will also work for all moded enchantments on vanilla books. Although most players already know what the vanilla enchantments do, they may not know what the More Swords enchantments do, or the more enchantments mod enchantments. As for how descriptions are handled, it grabs the name of the enchantment from the enchantment book and then creates a translation string for it. This translation string is then used to provide a description using any language file. One of the ideas behind this mod is to add a lot of additional documentation to the game so it is only natural that it would take a lot of work to translate all of the documentation, regardless of the features.

You're welcome
In the future I would also like to add the EV and IV stats of pixelmon to the tooltip, there is actually code already in the mod that does this. I have not enabled it yet because I can't think of a way to make it look good.
hmm usefull, can you disable some features in config? I would like to disable all furnace ones but burn time.
Yes, there is an ingame gui config that will allow you to disable/enable all of the tooltips. This can be accessed by using Numpad0 (set by Waila not wawla) however some people have troubles using that key. I normally change it to 0 using the controls menu.
