Ooh that's pretty handy. How about that in config file you would have a keybinding setting that would be empty by default, say: KEYBINDING_SWAP_COLUMN which you could then bind to whatever key wanted?
Personally I'd like a config option to toggle switching whole rows/single columns, but you're the modder, so its your choice.
You managed to decompile and continue without me giving source code? O_O Bro, you are a god. Of course do whatever the [REDACTED] you want!!!! Good luck on it
I like the mod, But is there anyway to have a mode where instead of switching the whole inventory, it just switch the column that's currently select in the hotbar?

+1, I already suggested this very thing

Yes, this is on my todo list for the next release. I will be however going to see my modder friends in Austria for the next 5 days, but I will take the code with me and try to develop while on the road
Awesome mod but it's not for me, I just can't get a hang of it, when I'm (my run and crouch are switched) crouching and want to scroll to a pickaxe or something else, the quick hotbar does it's thing instead of switching to the tool I want...

Hey there!
In that case you might want to change keybinding of the mod to something else, like ALT or a key for which you feel the most comfortable with
I've been writing a lot of code past few days, currently in next version 1.02 will be adding ability to switch between row / column switching mode (ctrl + c keybinding to do that) and mod will be clientside only (though you can still install the mod on server, server will then assist in handling the item switching to make items not go out of sync). Also fixed the problem where armor icons would still render behind when seeing preview of your inventory.
Currently have already implemented everything in 1.64 version, will do bit more testing and then will start moving code over to 1.7 versions.
I have installed your mod, and when I go on my server and try to scroll through rows, nothing happens. It shows the GUI but I can't scroll through it.
You will need to also install the mod in the server, though that will be changed in the upcoming version 1.02 as it will make it so that you will only need the mod to be in your client.
Version 1.02 uploaded!! Clientside support! Ability to switch between row and column switching!!
Changelog:
Mod is no longer required in server! Just add the mod in your client to enjoy the functionality
You can still add the mod to your server, and if you do so server will assist in organizing the items for not having any sync issues. If you add the mod to server, clients are also not required to have the mod installed so it is pretty safe to add the mod into your server.
Added keybinding to switch between row and column switching. That is CTRL + C by default (can be configured).
Added two new configurations options: ability to reverse the scrolling (useful for ex. in macs) and can set default scrolling mode (row or column switching).
Fixed so that armor icons no longer render on top of the inventory preview.
What I will be planning for next version:
Menu for changing keybindings and mod settings. CTRL + M by default.
I presume it might be as the client would be doing a lot of virtual inventory clicking and syncronizing items into server.
Personally I'd like a config option to toggle switching whole rows/single columns, but you're the modder, so its your choice.

Also, I think the addition of individual slot switching, like someone else suggested would be pretty handy.
Now, I need to rework all my keybindings.

EDIT: The keybind changing does not appear to work.
Also, could you make the in-game keybinding, if it's not too much trouble?
Which configuration option? What is name of the keybinding you tried to change it into?
