BLOOD is a mod that adds a new Blood system into Minecraft.
How it works: It works a lot like real life. It tries to be realistic yet still retaining unrealistic features. If you lose blood, certain affects will happen. If you lose 15% of blood in this mod, you will start to become dizzy. If you lose 40% your vision will become blurry. 50% you will start to lose color. If you lose 65% you will die. Your bar will never reach 0.

Sold at "you will die." I'm looking forward testing this out fully once a couple other mods get up to 1.7 (this + special mobs sounds like fun ) For now, hardcore vanilla mobs will be a decent testing ground.
I do have one question since it is not outlined in the original post. Are there any restrictions and/or special permissions required regarding modpacks, both public and private?
As you can probably tell, the post looks like utter crap right now, tomorrow I'll be finishing the post, making the title image look a LOT better, etc.
But no, feel free to use this mod in any modpack but please give credit where credit is due.
Love the concept. It makes the decision to fight or run a serious one like having health regen turned off (but without the silliness of having health regen turned off).
Are the % effects affected when you get extra hearts? So if I somehow get 20 hearts I'll get the 15% penalty when losing 3 hearts?
This is pretty cool. I'm going to be doing a video on this soon. I came up with the idea recently to create a show on my channel called "Mod Watch" where I take a look a fresh mods in early stages and possibly revisit them at a later state as a full blown Mod Spotlight. This will most likely be the first episode. Is there anything that you would like to make sure I cover? Would you rather me wait for tomorrow's update?
Having a bar that relates to health but never reaches zero feels out of place. Is it possible you could add a setting to allow the full bar to just represent the 65% of blood that can be lost.
I believe he's asking you if you could add a setting that makes it so once you reach 0%, you die, as opposed to 65% and have the other effect points scale.

Mod author. Too lazy to list mods, go here instead.
Help out the Official FTB Wiki reach a billion pages! (I keep having to update this, so let's just make it a billion)

I also saw that you loose blood whenever you get hurt in the comments, which is cool but how to you restore blood?
Can you harvest blood from mobs and inject it into yourself?
