What about the rumor that Eloraam has returned? She's supposed to be making some big announcement in a few weeks.
Otherwise, awesome mod. I may stick with it even if RedPower is eventually updated, considering it'll probably be just as long for Eloraam to update it again when MC updates - And Immibis is refreshingly prompt with his updates.

KingLemming posted FeedTheBeast subreddit on Reddit that it has nothing to do with Redpower. They never actually said the conversation was about Elo. I think you just wanted to believe it.

HAHAHA I can just imagine all the FTB people laughing their behinds off thinking about all the fools salivating over the news that Eloraam may be descending to grace them with a few crumbs.

Not on reddit much, so I had no idea. Anyway, it was a rumor, as I said. As is everything surrounding Eloraam.
And for the record, I've never used RedPower. It's always been outdated when I get back into Minecraft. Seems like it was cool, though.
I've been using PowerCraft for my redstone logic up until now - But it's a bit OP and buggy.

Nah wasn't referring to you. I was talking about the "Eloraam can do no wrong" sycophants.
Yes, RP was great and I respect everything she did with it and for us. But it is really time to move on and I am so glad that there are modders that are saying to hell with the "sacred cow". Keep up or get left behind.
Awesome, its the part I'm missing from RP2, just want to know if you have permission from Eloraam or you can get in troubles for copying her work somehow, don't want to have problems if I choose to use your version and Eloraam finally update her mod in who knows when... (I don't blame her for this, Real Life stuff is so much more important than a game, she has a lot of work and I totally understand that for sure) then she decides to do like Sengir and cause problems to people that used your version of RedNet Cables.
Kuddos for your hard work seriously its so much appreciated, would love to pay you a drink one day, but I really doubt it will happen sadly...

You said you'd make your own computers. What's wrong with ComputerCraft? Just make a peripheral to talk to your cables. RP2 computers are nice because they emulate a real 65(el)02 cpu, but too many can slow down your computer too much and I like having lots of computers with lots of coroutines. If you do add your own computers, can you make CC computers also be able to do everything your computers can do?
Edit: About replacing RP2, I've been wanting to make my own pneumatic pipe mod because BC is retarded (The item doesn't fit? Then throw it on the ground!). I'm not sure how I would do it (i.e. exact RP2 clone or what?). It would be fun/interesting/possibly useful for mob farms if players and entities could fit in them, and so they would be about 12/16 pixels wide = 3/4 of a block. It would be very ComputerCraft controllable.

+1 here, just starting to realize how much potential there is with the awesome ComputerCraft system, but the main complain I have is they use a lot of memory on servers and such because they add another layer to be able to program them easy, they use a lua system that is easy to use but isn't memory and cpu friendly to my own knowledge at least..
And thanks to sciguyryan for pointing out this post by Eloraam, it helps me realize she's not like Sengir (but Sengir changed is mind recently and I love his new tough about allowing everyone to distribute his work on every modpack possible, he grew up I suppose and now realize the potential of having mutliple people using his mods including some that don't know how to install a mod at all and prefer to use pre-made modpacks (most kids that enjoy Minecraft I would say aren't able to install their own mods, should change with the new MC API in the 1.6 soon tough can't wait to see it)
I know its not the subject, but any plans for changing the name of Immibis Core, which is really not a coremod, or perhaps make it so its a coremod, the name is really confusing for so many people, don't know why you're keeping it that way exactly, is it like bkprscore (not sure if spelled correctly here) which is also suggesting its a coremod but require to be placed in the mods folder, and the treecapitator which needs to be placed in the coremods but use bkprscore too... quite confusing there too)
Shift-click on a NOT gate with a screwdriver to disable outputs.
Wires cannot be washed away by water.
New bug: sometimes you get stuck on the edge of wire that you just placed.
Seems to be an unavoidable side effect of the water fix, unless Mojang or Forge changes it.
Gates internally use strength 0-255 instead of strength 0-15.
Existing gates will have the wrong inputs and outputs until they get a block update.
Improved wire rendering (fixed squished textures and Z-fighting).
Inside corners have Z-fighting and outside corners don't render because I haven't done those yet.
Fixed being able to put any size cover on a wire.
Fixed wire breaking particles.
Fixed timers emitting a pulse immediately after being started.
Added /rldebug command, mostly for my use. See /help for syntax. Admin-only.
'wire-reading' debug feature lets you right-click a wire to see the server-side and client-side strength.
Will not work properly in SMP.
'wire-lag-particles' debug feature creates fire particles when a wire causes a block update, and bonemeal/villager particles when a wire sends a packet to the client. Recommended only for small tests!

I don't see any reason not to add a peripheral for people who prefer CC.
Edit: About replacing RP2, I've been wanting to make my own pneumatic pipe mod because BC is retarded (The item doesn't fit? Then throw it on the ground!).
The one thing BC needs to fix that is insertion pipes, which are currently in Thermal Expansion.
(And they've been denied to Buildcraft because Thermal Expansion has them...)

Perhaps that is done to stop block / chunk updates? Reduce load on server perhaps.
RP2 gates don't ever change their light level, so they don't cause lighting updates after being placed.
RedLogic gates don't emit light because it seems useless and annoying.

If it's a Redpower release it's already 2 months late. People have given up on it and moved on.
I'm all for a lightweight redpower like redstone solution. Too many mods these days are becoming bloated and dragging clients and servers down with stuff people never use. Mods like this will give you the functionality you need minus the tonnes of blocks that you'll never use.
Good on you Immibis. Keep up the good work. Your mods are always solid.
Your source? Otherwise it is just speculation.

Elo's own thoughts on the use of ideas should clear that up for you.

Not even finished with logic and already someone is suggesting feature-creep.
Try the Chisel mod if you want worldgen and pretty blocks: http://www.minecraft...mpforge-chisel/
It also works with immibis' microblocks.
I'd rather not have it anyway. Can't remember how many times I got annoyed by the light from a gate tripping a light sensor.
To change the setting you need to shift-click with a screwdriver.
No.

That would be pretty funny.
Idk what to change it to.

Great job on the swift updates. The red alloy wire particles haven't entirely been fixed, though. This was taken in 55.1.0:
The little bits appear when breaking insulated wire as well.
Also, insulated wire doesn't seem to transmit directly to redstone lamps, as seen here:
Instead, a non-insulated wire must be used, as seen here:
I don't know if this is intentional behavior, but as a reference RedPower lets insulated wire directly transmit to redstone lamps:
On another note, you have avoided a bug Eloraam never fixed. Notice how the red wiring is cut off at the bottom of the column in RedPower:
In Red Logic the problem doesn't exist:
Oh, and please make caged lamps explosion resistant. Ghast fireball-proof at least.
