I'm getting an "Exception in Server Tick Loop" crash when I try to load a world with Pam's Harvestcraft 1.9a installed, using the Curse launcher. I'm experiencing the same error even with a clean Modpack profile using nothing but PHC and the latest version of Forge (12.16.1-1901).

after getting into stardew valley a little bit, a lot of the game reminded me of this mod. i think there are some cool gameplay elements in that game that would fit with this mod aswell.
mainly things like large wooden barrels to turn fruits into wine, and large jars to turn them into jam and other products. it would also be cool if you could make contracts with villages you come across and make a shipping crate to ship your products to these villages and get paid in emerald nuggets, gold nuggets, diamond nuggets or other valuables depending on how many crafting steps were involved.
up until now there isnt really a greater use for having more than 1 single type of food in minecraft actually, unless youre running some mod with a culinary generator. even then, after a while you just make the best food to generate power.
if you would be able to sell your harvest and food to villages with diminishng returns on the same food items and the amount of items shipped to the same village, there would be a greater use in making contact with multiple villages and growing and making many different types of food.
it would basically work like regular villager trading. only that youre trading with the villages as a whole and can remotely sell your wares. after a while, one village would stop buying the same type of item and youd have to sell something different. the same village would also only buy a limited amount of items per day in general, so its worthwile to trade with multiple villages.
Firstly, a billion thanks for all the hard work you've put into updating this most excellent mod to 1.9. Your dedication despite what you've had to endure is inspiring and you deserve a standing ovation.
Secondly, I know this is a w.i.p. and I've not been able to extensively test the mod as of yet, but I did want to mention what I've noticed what appears to be a spawning issue regarding HC trees.
I use BoP as well as many others. I've done some flying around on a fresh MC install with BoP and HC installed. The fruit trees are rather rare to find.
They are THERE, but it seems to favor nuts and durian in regular biomes. There are others, but as I said, quite uncommon and especially hard to find in BoP biomes such as "grove", "orchard", "lush desert", "oasis" which seems to be the ideal areas for fruit tree spawnage. Even Vanilla biomes don't appear to have many fruit trees.
However, up on a mountain in a BoP "Highlands" biome, many varieties were clustered in a small area. So, I think some temperature algorithm might need adjustment.
The crop bushes appear with regularity. I presume they were intended to all share the same look? I'm not seeing water crops, but perhaps that's temporarily out and I just missed that.
Just reporting what I've noticed. If anything I mentioned is intentional, that's fine. Thank you again and I'm so looking forward to the "hunt" your mod provides. It's exciting to search for everything rather than poppin' up the marketplace block.
Thank you very much for this mod. Been having a blast playing with my husband and creating a massive farm for all the different foods.
Sadly I've come across a problem and I'm curious if anyone else has it as well? I want to try and plant a nice orchard with the new trees. Except the crafting to create the saplings doesn't work with any crop? I put an apple with an oak sapling and... nothing it made. No matter the configuration on the crafting table nothing works.
Am I managing to mess up something really simple? I'm running 1.9. I removed all my other mods and I'm still not able to craft saplings so at least I know it's not a conflict.
Thanks for any help. Apologies if this has been address in another post somewhere.
The saplings recipe has changed so you have to put 3 of each fruit/nut in the grid with 1 sapling of the same type it needs, so: 3 apples with 1 oak sapling, 3 mangoes with 1 jungle sapling, etc.

Hey guys, so I've downloaded the 1.8.9 version of this mod and started a new Singleplayer world. I've looked everywhere but I can't find any gardens. Is this a bug or where are you supposed to find them?
I started my own world today with 1.8.9 version, but had no issues finding them. You might have messed with configs.

It worked! Thank you very much. I wonder if this will get updated on the various wikis that have the outdated recipe?

I had that issue with trees and gardens in different test worlds before finding a good enough seed. It might just be random generation not playing nice.

It probably will once the wikis catch up to the forums, and the new versions are mature enough.

Noob question. Is a patreon donation a one time pledge or repeated monthly for x amount of time? I would love to donate so I can get custom recipe ideas added.
Hello, loving the mod so far but I started a world in creative mode to test the mod out and I haven't been able to find any water gardens... I can actually only find 7 out of the 12 Gardens listed on the HarvestCraft wikia, that's both spawned in the world and in the creative inventory.
Is this a bug or have they been temporarily removed from the mod?
Using mod version 1.9b and appropriate forge version.
I think I may have some sort of strange installation conflict, or maybe other mod is messing with Harvestcraft. In 1.7.10, I was able to do beekeeping and make wax and all that good stuff, but now, in 1.9, that's no longer an option. Did I mess something up, or is that something that hasn't been implemented in 1.9 yet? I want to make a custom NPC quest where Lycanite kobalds drop Pam's candles lol.
Wow that's helpful! Is there anywhere to find out what else is different? Not only could I not make saplings, but I couldn't make a barrel either... Is the wiki going to updated or is there another source for instructions?

She's taken a lot of stuff out of harvestcraft for 1.9 for the time being. She has stated that most will be back in a later update and beekeeping stuff will likely have it's own separate mod.
I simply adore this mod! The one thing I've noticed that seemed a tad off was the fresh water from a bucket ratio. It shows One bucket of water gives 4 buckets of fresh water in the shapeless crafting, however upon testing this out, it only gives one bucket of fresh water. Tried testing this with the milk to fresh milk ratio, but it did give 4 buckets of fresh milk; I'm not sure if water to fresh water thing is an internal or server side issue, or even if its meant to be just one bucket giving one fresh water and there was a typo in configuration.
On Curse, the latest harvestcraft for 1.8.9 has virtually no config files, and harvesting cinnamon gives you wheat instead. And I had to enter the configs there are and enter the info for cotton myself for a garden to drop the crop.
