I just tried creating a superflat world, and I didn't get a single jar anywhere. I used a piston/glowstone, didn't see anything but blue.
As for your 'problem', that's what the config settings are for. If you feel there are too many, turn down the number of clusters per chunk or the chance per chunk, or even the max jars per cluster. That's why I made so many config settings.
Sorry for annoying, it's just that since i didn't want to bother you with the artifacts mod working, i myself would add it in to allow a bit of ease to you, however since your chests don't register with forge, kind of hard to do it without tampering with code (which i efficiently suck in)

No worries mate. Like I said, I only play vanilla Minecraft, so I don't think about these kinds of things; if you never bring it up, it will never get added, now will it? I need to play around with the chest loot code anyway, so I'll take a look at making them an official ChestGenHook, though I'm not sure exactly how that will work out for you since I add some items separately. I just have a lot of stuff to do, so I'm not sure when I'll get around to it, just like the Artifact mod compatibility - I just haven't had a chance to do it yet.

They should only be able to spawn in an air block, with a solid block underneath, and they spawn in groups based on the config settings. He claims it was a superflat world, but I've never seen lava in a superflat, nor can I get jars to spawn in my superflat worlds with the current settings. Either he has other mods that modify the terrain after I spawn the jars, or something else weird is going on that I don't know about.
As for the configuration settings.... erm... I'm really sorry, but don't get attached to your current settings. This time, so far, there have only been a few changes, but who knows what else may change. I promise that I'll refrain from changing them as much as I can, because I know it's a royal pain to redo it every time.

Currently, jars will drop small hearts, arrows, emeralds, Deku Nuts, and occasionally a standard bomb, but you can also put anything you want in a jar by dropping an item next to it. Smashing the jar will then give you that item, of course, and you can even pick it up and place it somewhere else and it will retain the stored item.

Well, if you're going to make it drop something similar to the grass' drops, use the triple of the grass' drops' weight(but keep the bomb rarity). I made 4 stacks of jars(they worth 1 CV in MinorAlchemy, a brick worth 2 and iron 1024) and I only got 15 arrows, some hearts, emeralds, nuts and rotten flesh. These jars made a good throwing weapon.
All the speed and quality of the content make me wonder about what your job is IRL.

I'm having a problem with my hearts not regenerating. Even at full hunger nothing is happening. The only way I can get my hearts back is if I log back in or get heart drops. Is it meant to do that or could it be a mod conflict? I didn't see anything on the post about it.
also something i was thinking you could add in the long run would be first for the game to generate like some sort of starting building where you get stuff like your kokiri sword and armor, etc and you can get a map from there thats special i'll sort of generate like a game world kinda like this:

Ah yes, they can also drop Deku Nuts. There is a config option for the rate at which empty jars drop random contents; the default is 20%, so if you feel you aren't getting a good enough bang for your buck, crank it up to 50 or even 100.

Yeah that shouldn't be happening. My hearts regenerate fine at full hunger. Do you perhaps have a mod installed that prevents health regeneration?

While that is a cool idea, it is way beyond the scope of this mod. I suggest using Antique Atlas for a map that already shows you the world in a cool rpg map, and the worlds are already randomly generated. I can talk to Hunternif and see if there is a way to get the Boss Dungeons to show up on his map, though, as that would be pretty cool, and I may put in something like a magic compass to help you find them.
Went to the Nether and it took more than 10 minutes to load (it didn't stop).. Restarted the client too still not working

Hello I love your mod. It is great. I use it in the ftb 20 version 1.0.1.2. (Forge 965)
The mod works incredible. I have it running with about 70 other mods which i have manually configged every one so i have it just nice.
I have a problem. I have a server that is under a paid host. Every mod except that one works. I know this for a fact. I ve restarted, configged, changed things up and googled everything i didnt know how to do and figured it out.
Can i place this mod on the server and get it too work? My server will not start with it on. The thing that bugs me the most is i had the config file "zeldaswordskills" under the server but i forgot to install the mod... Anyways I had the mod installed under my normal minecraft and when i looked under the item slot under the server, it showed all of the legend of zelda items you have under the mod on there.
Here is the catch. When i tried clicking a zelda item (To test out the new items) it said "No such item found." Every other mod item still worked fine and even the pictures of the zelda items showed up under my server.
So i closed the server. Installed the mod under the server. Re deleted the configs and it wouldnt work.
Once again I know everything else works for mods. Configs are good and all matched up. Everything works great including your mod under single player.

I too am getting extreme generation lag in the nether. Any way you could add a dimension whitelist for jar generation? Or at least give nether generation it's own frequency scale. It's currently tied to underground.
Plus I'm not sure if it's intentional, but secret rooms in the nether always generate out of overworld stone. I am using BoP, which adds custom biomes to the nether and changes the generation a bit.

You need to update to the latest version - that was a crash Draxis pointed out and I already fixed with version 0.5.10.
Re: the Nether - I'm very sorry I screwed that part up, didn't test the Nether before releasing. I've spent the last two hours messing around and have finally got it working smoothly with no freezes or anything, so hold on for a little bit while I polish up some things and then I'll release the patch.
Re: the secret rooms generating with overworld stone in the Nether, I didn't take custom biomes into consideration for the Nether, so it's defaulting to stone texture when it doesn't know what else to do. I will fix that as well.

Thanks a bunch! I also noticed the dungeons with the boss doors that are supposed to spawn in the nether aren't spawning in mine. I think they need to take the custom biomes into account as well.
I just tried creating a superflat world, and I didn't get a single jar anywhere. I used a piston/glowstone, didn't see anything but blue.
As for your 'problem', that's what the config settings are for. If you feel there are too many, turn down the number of clusters per chunk or the chance per chunk, or even the max jars per cluster. That's why I made so many config settings.
That would be because I didn't register my chests with forge. I'll look into it.
No worries mate. Like I said, I only play vanilla Minecraft, so I don't think about these kinds of things; if you never bring it up, it will never get added, now will it? I need to play around with the chest loot code anyway, so I'll take a look at making them an official ChestGenHook, though I'm not sure exactly how that will work out for you since I add some items separately. I just have a lot of stuff to do, so I'm not sure when I'll get around to it, just like the Artifact mod compatibility - I just haven't had a chance to do it yet.
That doesn't mean you have to stop suggesting things, but keep in mind I can't necessarily do everything in a timely fashion.

From what I can see from Akitori's screen, the jars spawn one by one and are spread evenly, even inside stone. I think that reduces the chance of encountering jars underground.
By the way, what is the full list of the jars' drop?
EDIT: Do you still change the names in the config? I don't want the config to be messed up after these versions marathon.

They should only be able to spawn in an air block, with a solid block underneath, and they spawn in groups based on the config settings. He claims it was a superflat world, but I've never seen lava in a superflat, nor can I get jars to spawn in my superflat worlds with the current settings. Either he has other mods that modify the terrain after I spawn the jars, or something else weird is going on that I don't know about.
As for the configuration settings.... erm... I'm really sorry, but don't get attached to your current settings. This time, so far, there have only been a few changes, but who knows what else may change. I promise that I'll refrain from changing them as much as I can, because I know it's a royal pain to redo it every time.
EDIT: Sorry, forgot to answer your question about jar drops. Currently, jars will drop small hearts, arrows, emeralds, Deku Nuts, and occasionally a standard bomb, but you can also put anything you want in a jar by dropping an item next to it. Smashing the jar will then give you that item, of course, and you can even pick it up and place it somewhere else and it will retain the stored item.
All the speed and quality of the content make me wonder about what your job is IRL.

the maps would generate differently each time to match the structures generated in the world.
this will allow for a much better rpg experience,
and so you won't have to wander aimlessly for dungeon and etc, while still allowing for random and uniquely generated worlds. allowing for a unique experience each time you make a new world
Ah yes, they can also drop Deku Nuts. There is a config option for the rate at which empty jars drop random contents; the default is 20%, so if you feel you aren't getting a good enough bang for your buck, crank it up to 50 or even 100.
Yeah that shouldn't be happening. My hearts regenerate fine at full hunger. Do you perhaps have a mod installed that prevents health regeneration?

Din's Flame can be found in the Nether.
Farore's Flame can be found in Swamps.
Naryu's Flame can be found in Taiga.
While that is a cool idea, it is way beyond the scope of this mod. I suggest using Antique Atlas for a map that already shows you the world in a cool rpg map, and the worlds are already randomly generated. I can talk to Hunternif and see if there is a way to get the Boss Dungeons to show up on his map, though, as that would be pretty cool, and I may put in something like a magic compass to help you find them.

The mod works incredible. I have it running with about 70 other mods which i have manually configged every one so i have it just nice.
I have a problem. I have a server that is under a paid host. Every mod except that one works. I know this for a fact. I ve restarted, configged, changed things up and googled everything i didnt know how to do and figured it out.
Can i place this mod on the server and get it too work? My server will not start with it on. The thing that bugs me the most is i had the config file "zeldaswordskills" under the server but i forgot to install the mod... Anyways I had the mod installed under my normal minecraft and when i looked under the item slot under the server, it showed all of the legend of zelda items you have under the mod on there.
Here is the catch. When i tried clicking a zelda item (To test out the new items) it said "No such item found." Every other mod item still worked fine and even the pictures of the zelda items showed up under my server.
So i closed the server. Installed the mod under the server. Re deleted the configs and it wouldnt work.
Once again I know everything else works for mods. Configs are good and all matched up. Everything works great including your mod under single player.

Plus I'm not sure if it's intentional, but secret rooms in the nether always generate out of overworld stone. I am using BoP, which adds custom biomes to the nether and changes the generation a bit.
