He told you it doesnt work properly, are you happy now? This isnt one of those mods that really need that much testing. If he says it dont work properly, guess what.......
Hi, please do not waste my time pointlessly tagging me unless you have something valid to add to the conversation. Thanks. My requests were for a github push, not a question of functionality. Read before you post.
Narrowed it down to the fact that in updating to 1.8 and the new PacketBuffer stuff, I hadn't realised that PacketBuffer's native string serialisation writes the data in a different format and was thus sending an invalid handshake all along! The "only showing cuboid" thing is apparently a fallback behaviour that WorldEdit has when it receives an unrecognised handshake, and the invalid packets were a red herring all along. I have no idea what causes them but apparently they don't do any harm.
Here's the updated an fully working download. I'll update the OP probably tomorrow when I have more time.
@Mumfrey, when I start playing singleplayer world or join to any server, it automatically sends command "/we cui", so I've get unknown command error message. Fix it please on 1.7.10

But I and my players too long not be able to update on 1.8, while Sponge not released and well tested... Just one fix, please
You realise I'm working on Sponge? And literally spend every spare second I have either working on 1.8 updates or working on Sponge. I have limited free time as it is so wasting it on back-porting a minor fix to an unimportant issue for 1.7.10 isn't something I'm going to prioritise very highly, because it's unfair on people who would (rightly) be expecting me to prioritise updating to 1.8. Literally the only negative effect of this is that the server says "unknown command", it's not that big of a deal and it's optional in 1.8 as I already stated.
If I magically get some spare time I'll go back and back-port the changes, but I'm not making any promises.

You know that Spigot has the FULL 1.8 version of spigot AND craftbukkit, and that they work really well ?
EDIT: If anyone thought I was speaking to Mumfrey... I was actually answering Bars96. Sorry 'bout the confustion. Also fix the "reply" feature to at least show a @tag.

Lol. I feel for you @Mumfrey. The unknown command is not even labeled [ERROR] or [SEVERE] ... just a simple [INFO].
Oh man -.- the things people ask for.
Does it werks with your WorldEditWrapper mod ? In other words, can it be used in SP ? c:
Yes it can, in fact I recommend it. Basically WECUI uses a system called "plugin channels" to talk to WorldEdit, and it doesn't matter whether WorldEdit is running on a remote server, or running locally in SP because plugin channels don't care

I was having a visual issue with WorldEditCUI and Optifine 1.7.10-HD-U-A4.
32-bit Vista, 4Gb memory,
ATI HD3450 with 256Mb memory. Latest legacy driver for the ATI is installed.
Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge and liteloader installed in a profile,
minecraft version's called "release 1.7.10-LiteLoader-1.7.10-Forge10.13.2.1230".
In Forge's Mod tab, MCP shows as 9.05, Minecraft Forge shows as 10.13.2.1230, and FML shows as 7.10.85.1230
Optifine shows as 1.7.10_HD_U_A4.
Over on Linux (again, 32 bit, with open source video driver), the same combination of WorldEditCUI and Optifine (and the aforementioned Forge, liteloader and OptiFine) have no visual trouble when I select an area. On Windows, it's another thing altogether. The whole window goes gray/blue as soon as I go //pos1 or //hpos1. If I'm in third-person, the window goes black instead. The visual issue clears if I use the WorldEditCUI Clear Selection key (I've set that to c here). So, where do I point to first? Optifine, or WorldEditCUI?
Nothing turns up in the devel log except INFO level lines: "[CHAT] Starting a new selection at ... ... ..." and "[CHAT] Selection Cleared" when I clear it. I also notice a red grid flash on for a very short time when I do clear the selection, then I get all my normal textures back.
The server is Spigot, I'm not aware of what version it's supposed to be, as I'm not the server owner, but it can accept connections from 1.7.2 clients all the way to 1.8.1 clients (weird). What other information would you like? Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to lend towards this and I'm happy to wait for any likely fixes to turn up.
EDIT: I installed an update to Optifine (HD_U_B4) the issue hasn't gone away. I guess this might just be an Optifine problem.
Please! Make a 1.8+ version!
I cannot live without this mod, makes stuff so much easier!
I do need this so badly, it seems that the 1.7.10 version wont work with it.
Tried almost everything to make it work, still got no luck!
If you need it that badly at least do a little leg work and read the last page or two and see if there is any news regarding the update you are looking for.

I'm glad you said "*Not guaranteed" because when I started using it, I could feel it getting way to hot outside.
xD

Callback class: com.mumfrey.liteloader.gl.GL
Callback method: glLineWidth
public static void glLineWidth(float e)
{
// handler code here
}
Tossed out in the error log when trying to use CUI.
Update liteloader.

The best kept secret to administering a server is LiteLoader, WorldEditCUI, and Macro/Keybind Mod!
Sorry I actually made it a couple of weeks ago, I just forgot to update the OP. It's updated now.
Thank you!!!! ; Who maintains this page: -redacted-
Do you actually have worldedit installed, eg. can you use worldedit commands notwithstanding the CUI?
