i have it in there but when i launched the game after it didnt work but i checked back into it and the mod was there is there a api or library mod type thing i need? its for 1.7.10 modded and vanilla was 1.7.2 but none worked
As far as I know, Technic is still on 1.6.4.
You have to download the 1.6.4 version and place it in the correct location for it to work with Technic.

I am trying to modify the config files so only a few kinds of blocks are shown, however when ever I change it, put it into the jar, and run it...there is no difference to the config file. Is there a certain way to reload the config file or what?

You're not supposed to be putting anything into a jar. The config files are located at: .minecraft/config/XRay

ok so i ran your update, the installer created a new profile in my launcher.. cool, the new profile does not include liteloader and forge so the other mods do not work... not cool. removed the profiles and attempted to install the traditional way, placing the jar into the mods folder and running the game with my liteloader profile, xray mod does not load upon startup, will not show up in mods list, and no controls are available for it it the game menu's .

When you ran the installer, did you select the profile with liteloader to install into? I might be wrong, but it sounds like you selected the vanilla profile to install into.

Btw, thank you for your work. It helps me a lot to enlight some cave (witch farm, ... yes ^^ ). During doing this, I pondered about some missing feature. Do you know old/rebirth CJB mod? it have an XRay mod too and we can select the blocks we want to scan in a GUI, live in the game. It's great, very helpfull. Do you know if you plan to something like that?
In the cave mod, is it not possible to see some other blocks, I understand why. We can see mobs & chests as far as I can see, so it seems not impossible to add torches, could you add an option, like the redstone cfg file, to add our block as we wish please?
And last request/demand/idea : A Noclip function ! Everybody know what about, so, I don't explain further.
Good luck to clean your code; I was happy to see the red line

An in-game GUI is something I'd like to implement eventually, but not right now. I'm busy preparing for 1.8
A customizable cave mode is a possibility, I'll look into it.
At this time I don't have plans to implement a noclip - sorry.
Lastly, here's the changelog for the last two updates:
v2.10.2
- Now checks for updates on an interval instead of every launch to conserve some bandwidth.
- Fixed NullPointerException when patching for forge/liteloader
- Cleaned up code quite a bit
v2.10.1
- Fixed profile detection code for some LiteLoader profiles
- Updater now follows HTTP redirect
- Code clean up
- Cleaned up 'tile.name.block' blocks in 1.6.4
would it be possible to implement to show the current direction with the coordinates (north, east, south, west)?
Don't care if it's the full name or just a letter. Would be awesome
Greetings
This seems useful - I'll see what I can do

yes i did use the liteloader profile with the installer. heres something to think about, lite loader is coupled with forge, have to select forge when installing lite loader, now there was a new lite loader profile that was inslatted but it was not done with forge, so again the mods would not work. in other words your nislatter pulled liteloader but not forge with it

Could you try redownloading the latest version (I've had an update since you originally posted), and try reinstalling XRay into the LiteLoader profile.
Then, if it's still not working, copy and paste the Game Output log from the launcher. This will help me identify the issue.
Finally, you can manually install XRay for Forge or LiteLoader by placing the downloaded file into: .minecraft/mods/1.7.10 - replacing 1.7.10 with the version you're trying to install.
