how do you install it? what do you mean it doesn't work?

I made a Feed The Beast modpack! Simply type "Experiment812390" without quotes into the 3rD party codes area and you can see the mods list and install!

my profile picture is the A-10 thunderbolt II the successor of the first thunderbolt used in WWII by the USAF both excel in air support and ground attacks
the A-10 also sports the GAU-8 Avenger a 30MM hydraulic gatling type autocannon
Found a bug. So i have a system with AE2 that auto puts silicon/redstone into the middle slot of an inscriber. however. items in the inscriber arent supposed to stack but the tube is forcing them to stack and for some reason the inscriber wont work when there is stacked items in it.
x3 - have an error in my client log regarding the tank tube (results in a kick from the server).

Author hasn't posted anything since November, though he was last logged in less than 24 hrs ago. Might no longer support the mod.
*edit*
PM'd Schmoller over a week ago, and haven't gotten a response. Unfortunately, I believe this mod is dead.
If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.
Aye, crashes me as well. i'm on a private server no one in that area can connect, kicked out right away. Sadly it seems no help in sight. I hate to remove the mod, but I may have to.

Many heftier modpacks contained their own transmission and transport methodology. They also tend to contain enhanced mineral content and ore multiplication, among other things.
Tubes is ideal for a smaller-footprint modpack, with it's specialty focus solely on transportation. It is a decent addition to modpacks that restrict access to materials as well...
The problem is that some recipes (liquid extraction tube, filter tube, compression tube) are a bit overpriced in low resource and specialty packs, like skyblock and other harsh survival style maps.
Is there a possibility you could include a 'cheaper alternative recipe' toggle in the config? It is a little depressing to have to add a hefty mod like minetweaker to change the recipes to something more in line with vanilla minecraft to make such an otherwise useful mod valuable on a tough survival server (Most skyblock players would rather save the iron and redstone, even in the long term, and use a bucket than spend 11 iron, 2 gold, 3 redstone, and a sand block to make a single fluid extractor to keep their generator with lava fuel running their automatic sieve at a very, very slow rate)
Maybe something like an extractor + 1 bucket +2 lapis for fluid extractor, a gold+2 iron + piston + tube for a compressor, and a redstone circuit, +4 grates, +4 tubes for a filter?

How to make the Stone Saw?
I can not found recipe in Forge Multipart WIKI
stone "stick", stone stick, stone stick
wooden stick, stone stick, stone stick
If I remember correctly.
Bump. Bumped the silent github ticket as well.
https://github.com/Schmoller/Tubes/issues/31
In the interim, this MineTweaker script can allow you to at least use the mod without the risk of players crafting tank tubes:
