Isn't the lectern supposed to face the altar structure, rather than facing the side? In other words: Try rotating the Lectern.

Huh, you know that wizardry mod? Turns out they used to develop it for 1.7.10. Same premise really. Find stuff in cool forts and towers instead of grinding exp for them.
can someone help me, I can not find a thread or info anywhere I look on how to successfully remove ars magica completely from my server backup, I know I have done it in the past and it worked fine, but now it wont work for some reason, and keeps crashing citing "ars magica preloader" info, if someone can help or knows a trick or you need log files let me know, I am moving over to thaumcraft against my better judgement because of the level losses every time someone teleports using either a mod teleportation or vanilla teleportation. really wish I didn't have to, but I do, and I can not lose my world file info.

I saw that as well, but I'm betting those JSONs are for the 1.10 versions of Agricraft as well. As far as I can tell, there isn't a 1.12.2 version of Ars Magica.

I've played AM2 a lot on 1.7.10 and crafted a lot of different spells many times.
Now I decided to try it on 1.10.2 modpack and encountered a problem - I cant make altar work.
This isnt my first crafting altar at all, but first on this version however I rechecked compendium, guides if construction was changed, I've tried different materials and capes, moved in another chunk but still cant make it work - altar does not accept blank rune.
I have noticed that I cant link obelisk and crafting altar no matter how far are they from each other.

Can I generate a texture pack or add it to another texture pack to make it work? Should I extract the jar and copy it inside and compile it again? How can I do it?

Mithion! I love you! Your original Ars magica 1 was my favorite mod of all time. I like this one too, but they're apples and oranges.
Would you consider porting the original to 1.7.10 if I prayed for the wellbeing of your firstborn and said thank you 10,001 times?

I looked at the source code, but did not find anything like it. So this is all a fiction?
