Anyone else having trouble getting the download to work? Mine stops and tries decompressing before the file's even done downloading. Can't seem to get it to work, perhaps someone could message me and send it to me via dropbox? It would be greatly appreciated.
This is awesome, and everything works well. There is just one thing- the bound tool shape seems "disabled by config", but I can't find a "false" line for it anywhere in the skill config file. In fact, it seems as though it might not be on the list. Is there a way for me to enable bound tools?

Yes, crash was produced by BinnieCore, but after I removed Ars Magicka, I can start the game regularily.

I am having the Invalid FluidContainerData conflict when adding AM2 to the Resonant Rise modpack. I can't actually find any conflicting IDs between the two however.

Binding isn't implemented yet. I force it to disabled to prevent you from wasting skill points and items on something that doesn't work.
Helle, really great mod, good job. I am new to AM, so I was following the ingame guide. But ran into a problem: Can't create spells at crafting altar using "Automatic Emerald Pipe" (ID 20258) in the spell recipe. The altar just won't accept the item, it falls on the floor. Any ideas? Thanks
The books don't list ingredients in order in their pages. You'll need to follow the order that the lectern shows you.
Can someone dropbox a copy of a world that is having trouble with retrogen and PM me the link? I will look into the crashing issue tomorrow if I can get one that replicates the issue.

For both of these, try renaming the ars magica mod file to something like zarsmagica, if you do that, ars will load after the mods you already have, and it should be able to check to see what ids are already in use, and set it's config properly.
(I was getting an issue that said it was with Forestry, of an id assignment type, but the AM2 .config didn't finish generating, and this fixed it. Afterwords you can change the name back to the original)

Just wondering if there's a trick to connect the essence nexus to a crafting altar as I've got a essence nexus with 3250.00 essence in it and I cant Complete a Spell that needs neutral (500) in this case i've right clicked on the nexus then on the crafting altar block that's 4 blocks away and made of stone brick and glass and the crystal wrench wont seem to connect them

never mind I got it to work after a few times downloading
