Any way to reduce Potentia cost (can it be Frugal'ed?)
nope.
you can stack up quite a bit of speed with haste 3 boots of the traveller and haste 3 on the harness though. if you really wanna go cruising, you can get an 8 minute haste potion on top of that. should last about as long as a full jar of potentia.

I don't think so. Potentia is easy to get anyway by using coal or charcoal. If you have an infernal furnace chances are you won't need much, if any coal anyway. You could also setup a tree farm using golems and smelt the logs into charcoal. You'll have more potentia and ignis essentia then you could ever want doing that.

Due to my snarky and sarcastic personality I can easily be seen as a jerk. If I've offended you in any way it was likely unintended.
how do you get ethereal blooms to appear in the thaumonomicon to be researched? everything i've read has said that the only research needed is the crucible, but that's automatically unlocked and trying to study herba/sano/etc does nothing, is there anything else i need, or is it a hidden thing, or what?

Try researching vitium, ordo and purus (is purus still in TC4?)
There's no way to get a specific research other than to keep researching and hoping that you get what you want. Just keep researching whatever comes up then you might be able to get the etheral blooms. (And if i remember it correctly the etheral blooms are fairly expensive and from my own experiments they seem to 'die' after a while. What i mean by this is that they just randomly disapeer after a while.)

I think Azanor said they're about to get even MORE expensive... on the flipside, they will be moveable.
There are ways to get a specific research. You have to think out what it is you want BEFORE you start spamming RPs.
Example: Golems are animated servants that have spiritually made alive. Spiritually == Spiritus; research Spiritus.
Example2: Goggles of Revealing let you sense the world around you. Sense == Sensus; research Sensus.
Example3: Knowledge is power. Once you recognize what you are looking at, you learn it. Recognize == Cognitio; research... well, you know.
Azanor did a really good job using Latin-derived names for aspects. If you're aiming for a particular research, try taking a minute to figure out what aspect would *most likely* bring you to it. Remember - this is a research-based mod, not a "I'm-in-Minecraft-there-are-no-rules-to-anything-and-this-should-be-working-but-why-isn't-it" mod.
Of course, there does seem to be a bit of leeway when it comes to different research items that have the same aspects. In that case, complete what comes up, and then continue on the same aspect, until you get either the research you want... or realize "Oh, wait... I actually need THAT aspect...".
And after you've researched EVERYTHING for the third time, I think you'll start to know what aspects go with which research.
I actually found quite a huge problem already. When I would right click a bookshelf with any wand in both creative and survival, it wouldn't give me the Thaumonomicon. Instead, it would give me an item called item.Test Name.name. It could be conflicts with other mods but the odd thing is I can't even find the Thaumonomicon in the menu so I think it is a bug with the mod.

This sounds like an id conflict with some unimplemented item from another mod.

nope.
your general statement is right, but animus has nothing to do with animation. its the aspect for animal. you want to look into things like motus, spiritus etc. for golems.
Hey guys, I just discovered the Wand of Excavation and got it's Discovery in my hotbar... The problem is that when I right click it... Nothing happen! What's the problem? Could it be because I have multiple research note of it still un-sorted out?NOTE: I have the latest version and I did discovered some other stuff before like Google of Revealing and I could actually use the discovery of it since I made my own pair...Thanks in advance to help me!
Never mind guys... Looks like it unlocked but didn't destroyed the Discovery... My bad >.>
So, we've got a few key aspects for research so far -- implicitly, all of them need to be used "early", before opening up other research trees that could confuse things:
I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.

I got the mod and noticed that the wands (like excavation etc.) are missing, and so are a few other things, could these be compatibility issues with other mods?
It has been told a million times. Impossible research does happen and is intended. Throw it away and try again.

Hmm, I dunno. Looks to me like you could say they 'infuse' an area with their purity so figuring out how that works could make sense.

if so where is it?
sorry for so many questions

Motus, Spiritus: GolemsVitium (taint): Ethereal Blooms
Sensus: Goggles
At a guess, advanced node tapping would be Aureus, but might compete with Ethereal Blooms.
Arbor should at least start off wands.
ETA:Belatedly spoilered at TPB's request, sorry!
I realized that. That'll teach me to post at 12:40 in the morning...
