i started playing thaumcraft and after a while i noticed that i never ran into any magical forests or taint. i started to worry so a made a creative server and flew around a bit and still never found any i could have missed it but can someone pls give me a seed that spawns you near some so i can make sure my world generation is ok?
Use Thaumcraft 4.2.1.4 with forge .1224. There was an issue with forge that caused any biomes with a weight lower then 10 to not spawn at all. This should be fixed now.

Well, you're probably throwing away the wheat (par a chest or two), because it will overflow any storage over time. (Baling it just postpones that a bit.) And you don't get that many seeds-- running not one, but two lamps of growth might require a fair area. (Basic 9x9 plot: 40 surplus seeds/growth cycle, the question is how long that is.)
Distilling the wheat requires at least two void jars (IIRC, Fames and Humanus), but once you have that and a pumped centrifuge, that can boost the herba output and dispose of the wheat.
Well, from my experience: seeds are not a problem and the resulting herba is well enough to power both my normal farm and my mana bean farm.
Yet, I see your point about the overflow of wheat... Maybe just have a way to stop golems picking up wheat, yet still pick up seeds
Oh wait, my bad: that already exist... Even though I still didn't applie it to my farm... Haven't got storage yet...
(Oh and by the way, there was no sarcasm in my comment... Someone already thought there was in an other comment which used the same form... That was embarassing...)
EDIT: Oh... I've just seen your solution for the overflow... Wiser than mine ^^'

They're rather rare. Although, I'm sure the biome weight is no longer hardcoded so you can adjust their spawn rate in the config. Be warned though: doing so will cause "chunk walls" when you generate new chunks. Setting it to 10 will make them as common as vanilla biomes.

I still tend to dig into a hillside or cave -- last game's taking over a village was a break from that. In my current game, I first dig into the side of a valley, then I roofed over the valley and moved out into it, and now I'm digging out more space into the hills on one side. Originally I had wooden-slab interior floors, but I replaced those with stone and stone brick slabs after a lava accident.
Inside my lair are my distillation rig (furnace->auto-crucible), plus enchanting table. anvil, and research desk (with trimmings). And I have plenty of space for storage, especially since I haven't golemized the early farms. (I probably will when I build my prison village.) The part I'm digging out will be my wall-o-essentia and eventual extras (like furnace with crystallizers).
Within easy reach on all sides are my early farms (still pretty small), fishing golem, mana bean farm, infusion altar, and Nether and Twilight Portals.

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.

On the crimson cult robe where the thaumonomicon would be on the void set is just blank currently. In the future I hope it have the crimson rites strapped to the back.

it means it increases your warp as long as youre carrying them on your inventory. as soon as you put them away, you lose that warp again.
edit.: nothing can be learned from purifying fluid.
edit.: good thing i have the replicator from thaumic exploration. because otherwise i would never have enough sand to make glass. would be seriousl nice if the alchemy recipes got added back in.
Updating Thaumcraft-1.7.10-4.2.1.2 to Thaumcraft-1.7.10-4.2.1.4, I had to go back to *.2, and remove all my essentia buffers, otherwise the game would crash. Then I was able to update and put buffers back in.
Some time ago I posted some rather brave statements regarding how to grow nodes "effortlessly". Namely - place 8 sacrificial nodes in the corners of a 7x7x7 cube with the node to boost in the center.
I can actually empirically confirm my initial findings: Even if the center node is bright; Even if some of the sacrificial nodes are pale; Even while they are much smaller than the bully node, they are not drained in this setup. My bright node is now at 120~150 in all aspects. (It will become energized if/when XC finally publishes mystcraft for 1.7.10).

You slowly gain temporary warp (or non-permanent? I still can't tell the difference).
As for the blurred vision, sure it can be a nuisance but personally has never caused any discomfort (I use glasses if that makes a difference?)
