I'm using the 1.22 High - Motion Blur packs, and I wonder if I can enable underwater refract? Refraction is ON in the shader option but I don't know if that is the correct option for underwater refract.
Love the shader pack! Looks phenomenal! I am experiencing some very major issues, and I am struggling to find a solution.
I downloaded the high vibrant shaders and extreme volumetric lighting pack and I experience the same issue with either shader pack running. I got it to to work relatively easily at the beginning but it made a turn for the worse after a few minutes of gameplay. Whenever I change shader setting in-game, my game "streaks" images, like a laggy windows98 desktop until I close/restart the game.
The minecraft client also randomly freezes at intervals between 1 minute and 15 minutes of gameplay between freeze . And then the client becomes "not responding" (no error code or actual crash, it just freezes indefinitely) randomly. It doesnt happen after changing settings, but while I'm running or building or fighting etc etc. Thank you in advance!
Known issue on vega cards, caused by bad amd opengl drivers. Latest working driver was 18.6.1
I'm having the same issue with Enhanced Default (latest version of shader pack and optifine) - horizon line is ugly solid blue color. I've noticed that "Fog" option in Enhanced Default does literally nothing, the fog is not working anyway. Here are some screenshots (fog on/off and comparsion with Your Vibrant Medium):
Vanilla fog must be enabled aswell, also make sure optifine is up to date.
Will this Shader pack ever have functionality in the end? It honestly kinda bugs me that it doesn't work there.
There also seems to be a bug whenever you log out and log back in while in the nether, it makes all entities pitch black. Mobs, items, non-full blocks, anything that isn't a "block" to be specific. I'm using version 1.18 of the modpack.
And in the most recent version, there seems to be a glitch with the reflection from rain where it makes this ugly pattern on the ground and doesn't go away even after the rain is gone.
End shaders might happen somewhen in the future, the thing with shaders per dimension is basicly that they're a completly new shaderpack.
So, for the past 2-3 hours, I have been looking and tinkering and looking more...
I have the horizon bug; Where the screen splits at the crosshair, and the sky+clouds renders above the split, but below the horizon line it's blank nothingness.
Astral Sorcery is installed; I have looked, and weakskyrendering is set for 0; and no matter of turning on/off sky settings for the renderer have I been able to fix anything.
I'm curious; is there no way to disable the shader's effects on the skybox, so that it is left default for astral sorcery to render? Or am I speaking nonsense
I'm using your Vibrant 1.22 High shaders alongside Optifine HD F2_Pre1 Ultra (I switched after using 1.12.2 HD E3 Ultra and having no luck.)
Good shaders mod. Spent 30 minutes setting it up only to find out the shaders cause your game to have OpenGL errors and had to remove it. Quite disappointed, but nice for when it lasted.
There are no errors if your gpu drivers and optifine are up to date.

- Reworked waster caustics.
- Water caustics are now visible while in/underwater.
- Reworked underwater fog.
- Adjusted water color.
- Adjusted reflections strength.
- Added an ingame option to toggle caustics.
- Added an ingame option to adjust caustics strength.
- Added various debug options
- Improved water visibility in caves.
- Improved water rendering in the distance / visible chunk border.
- Improved sun/moon angle option, it's now alot more adjustable.
- Fixed and improved rain reflections (small performance hit)
- Increase buffer accuracy for normals to prevent reflections issues. (small performance hit)
- Fixed volumetric lighting
- Fixed lecterns rendering, no more black sides/borders!
- Fixed refractions option, it will now disable all distortions underwater.
**Known issues:
- Underwater fog is abit broken in caves / lowlight areas.
- Handheld transparency is affected by caustics/refractions. (ice, stained glass)
- Caustics are visible on land while looking through water (from underwater)
Hi. I am currently using Enhanced Default v1.081, and I have a problem with the damage flash. The red flash when players get hit is either barely visible or not even there. How can I increase the brightness or visibility of the red flash?
This is the MobsFlashRed function I found in gbuffers_textures.fsh if that helps at all:

I am also using the 1.7 old animations mod on 1.8.9
Make sure you're using the latest optifine version for 1.8.9. It should work fine then, you can however multiply the line you found with some random value to make the effect stronger. example: tex.rgb = mix(tex.rgb,entityColor.rgb,entityColor.a)*4.0;
hello, I absolutely love these shaders, thank you!!!
I usually use the lite version, which is wonderful, but as it does have issues with night vision, I've started using the default version -- which is great, too! I use a resource pack so it's nice to see the pack's cute custom sky as well. However, I really like the emissive light in the lite version as I often use the torch as a flashlight and really like the glowing stars, lava, etc.
Would it be possible to add the emissive light functionality to the default version of the shader? Optinally, of course.
Thank you for what you have already done <3 These shaders add so much to my mc experience!!!

It's on the todo list but there are some issues with the default mc lightmap.

- Removed beam shadows.
i have a graphical problem. After 5-15 minutes of gemeplay this happens:
Its like the old Windows XP Window bug. When i close the world and open a new one it still persists. This issue only resolves when i restart Minecraft.
The only mod i have installed is the newest version of Optifine 1.14.4.
I have a texture pack installed, but it still happens whithout it.
I was gonna read through all the comments to see if this had been mentioned before, but there's 238 pages... I was trying to use your shaders with the Pure BDCraft texturepack, and I was wondering if it was possible to show the sun, moon, and stars from BDCraft, I can't find a way to do it.
Currently using an AMD RX580 on Windows 10, I seem to get Z-fighting whenever there's overlap of textures but only on this shader pack with certain texture packs
example:
here it is in vanilla:
This is another shaderpack, as well as optifine's internal shader,

Default skybox and default moon are supported, but skybox only during night time. Just tweak the ingame settings in the sky and lighting section.

Maybe the textures are set to translucent which causes issues with the rendering system in vibrant shaders, so you have to change the textures properties to non translucent.
Should I download an earlier version of the shaders if I'm on 1.7.10? I have the last OptiFine version for this Minecraft version, so I don't think it's that.
The most recent vibrant shader(I'm using the Lite version) gives me a black screen while I use it, unless I try a couple of the Showbuffer settings which cause some weird effects, I can show screenshots if it's necessary.
The Enhanced Default shader just made the game crash whenever I tried to load it, and I couldn't get the Launcher to show me the crash report.
Caused by bad amd opengl drivers, latest working driver was 18.6.1.
Ran into this and I tried updating my drivers. 19.9.2 seems to not have this issue. I have been playing for about an hour without issues. Love the shaders!
When I turn on default sky and moon, the sky merely loses it's stars and the moon disappears. Could it be a compatibility problem with my texture pack?
Is there anything that can be done if it says my drivers are up to date? I have an Intel GPU that's from years back, so I don't think there have been updates for it in years.

Just some things I've come to notice about Enhanced Default, minor thingys.
Entities hit with a "spectral arrow" or give the "glowing effect" are looking kinda funny

Another very small thing is that lightning bolts have a yellow tint and are A LOT harder to see than in default.
was slain by a pig
I would have liked to download this but Adfly links make my antivirus scream for adwares and trojans.
Is there a clean mirror?
