Seems like dedicated SMP will have to wait a little bit longer, i've rescheduled 1.1.0 release, and put 1.0.2 in instead.

Perhaps you could add like a Reputation or Devotion system, But do it so you actually have to try to do it, Like Killing villagers = Evil
Curing Villagers = good or something. But there has to be a reward for both which I cannot think of.
For beam now i've fixed the damage delay.
The formula is 2.5 sec - (beam spell count * 5) per attack.
If nothing is hit, the counter will add up, and at the moment the beam touches something, it'll cause damage
EDIT 2: Wait that is a glitch, it waits a few seconds before doing any damage/healing.
It is supposed to wait 1-3 seconds, depending on your staff's power and how many beam elements you queued
It's there to balance the beam, since it's a super long-range attack.
Just curious, are you going to add self-casting like in the original game?
No exact date yet, but, well, no later than August, that's for sure xD
