Minestrappolation 3.0 - A Complete Vanilla Overahaul!
Poll: How should our mods be managed?

Poll: Should we re-do vanilla stained clay textures?
Ended Sep 3, 2014
Yes, there are two things that could be causing this. The more obvious one would be if you do not have Extrapolated Ores also installed, because Sunstone Lamps can only be crafted when both mods are installed. However, if you do have both mods installed and its still not showing up, its probably because the recipe for Sunstone Lamps are post-loaded in order to only make it craftable when both mods are installed, so its not registering the recipe when the book first looks for all of them.
Anyways, to answer your question, its crafted the same way as Sunstone Stone Lamps, but with Sunstone block instead of a Glowstone Block. The only other block in the mod that is currently creative mode exclusive is Mossy Sandstone Brick, but that will generate somewhere eventually.
In other news, SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION TIME!!! As you probably have not heard, me and Sobio are competing in Modjam, and we're doing nearly-constant livestreaming our progress! So yeah, you should all come on down and watch some livestreamery. Because we may or may not ever have anyone in our livestreamchat. Imsoalone...
Here's the channel:
Thanks. Its quite appreciated!
Overall great mod, that I've already recommended to one of my friends.
Yeah, I just found that issue about two days ago. It appears that although the enchantments show up in the enchanting table, you cannot actually click on any of them. Why this is, I have no idea. I just do the arts. However, it does work for armor for some reason, and you can still enchant tools and weapons via books and an Anvil, as long as you rename the item. We'll try to have this fixed next patch.
Lol, thank god, someone finally commented. I was about 3 days away from stooping to the low low level of triple bumping my own thread.
Anyways, sorry about the long delay between patches. After weeks of derping around with the code, I think we finally have the tool enchanting issue down to an incorrect extends in the code, which means we have to basically redo most of the code we currently have for tools. So that's fantastic.
In the meantime however, if anyone has suggestions for some simple content to add to Extrapolated Ores or Extrapolated Decor, please feel free to suggest it to us. The next patch is mostly hardcore bugsquashing and gameplay balances, but I'd like to add some actual content as well if we can. We will not be taking suggestions like "ohbythewayyoushouldaddthisentirenewgameplayfeaturethatwilltakefiveyearstocodekthxbye". Just simple stuff that I can add in my spare time while SoBio is working on bugstomping and important stuff. Things like those Stained Bricks that I added about a week ago.
Also, comment, pl0x. The thread made it down to like page 20 before Disolia commented.
Do you have plans to develop it further?
Actually, the reason there isnt a thread is because it's pretty much still just as buggy as it was when we finished it during modjam, which we decided was a nowhere-near publicly releasable state. It's really good to hear that people enjoyed it, but unfortunately there were quite a few rather gameplay-breaking bugs, so it likely won't be released for a while.
However, we do still have plans to release it at some point, though whether it will be a standalone mod or part of an "Extrapolated Dimensions" segment, we have not decided. Either way, I doubt we'll start working on it again until after this coming patch.
And be sure to vote for Virtious in modjam voting!
I will =)
Can you move the Nether Quartz ores from the ore mod, into it's own mod? I really like the radient, the desert quarts, it's just brilliantly textured. but personally, i don't like the ores themselves such as uranium, I'm a sort of medieval guy. Hope it's not too much to ask.
Stop treating mod devs poorly. These people mod as a hobby or as a service to the community, they don't have to take your suggestion and you are not entitled to anything from them.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll consider it.
Yeah, I've been debating about moving Desert Quartz and Radiant Quartz to a different segment, but I'm not sure about putting them in Extrapolated Decor, and Extrapolated Geology hasn't even been started yet. I'll probably put a poll up when SoBio gets back next week to see if people are interested in having them moved.
In other news, the first Content Update has been released! Extrapolated Ores has received a number of bugfixes and balance changes, and Extrapolated Decor now features 16 new Stained Brick blocks, as well as the useful new Road block! Have fun, and be sure to tell us about any bugs/balance issues/suggestions you run into!
