Hey guys, got a little problem. I'm using Tinkers Construct (supported by Project Red) for the stain glass, since the vanilla stain glass gives me some visual artifacts. The problem is that I have no idea how to add Tinkers stain glass to the microblocks list instead of vanilla stain glass. Currently, the microblocks use the vanilla glass for it's covers, panels, etc. and this is what I get:
Using Tinkers stain glass blocks, I get no artifacts:
Previously, I've always used 1.6.4 (no vanilla stain glass) so microblocks had no problem finding Tinkers blocks. All I want is for those damn lines to disappear! So can anyone tell me how to add Tinkers stain glass to the microblocks list found in Config?
Here's a little sneak peek at the house I need this for:
Thanks to anyone who can help!
which texture pack you have?
try use another types of glass .. for example ae2 glass
A lot of the download links in the version archive (Definitely 4.3.5 build #30, anyway) appear to be broken, giving error "The requested page title was invalid, empty, or an incorrectly linked inter-language or inter-wiki title. It may contain one or more characters that cannot be used in titles".
Please no more posts on the links being broken.

I LOVE the different lamps in this mod, but i jus HAT that i have to scatter them all over same as torches for efficient light levels, are there any way we can get an option in the config to adjust the lightlevels of the different lamps??? For now i've only seen Greg's Lighting and the Thaumcraft Wrathlamp, that actually gave off more light, and i kinda don't feel like placing a lamp every 3 blocks in the ceiling, to light up the floor indoors. It's one of the major flaws i find in MC, that u can make a cool build, but then u either have to play on peaceful, or litter everything with torches to keep mobs out.
If it can be done for the old 1.6.4 mod too i'd love that.

Still working a little on bug fixing, but the current plan is to finish a few new gates:
- Digital-Analog converter gate
- Input panel gate (Has 16 different coloured buttons for bundled signal emission)
After that, back to more bug fixes. I have decided, since I have not added any major changes in a while, to open up everything to community suggestions. Anything and everything is fair game, if you guys want to see something in the mod, just open up a new report on Github, and we'll see about implementing it. Hopefully, this gets PR to be more useful to a more wider audience.

Technically, lamps are already at max brightness, those other lamps use some tricky stuff to emit light even farther. I am already working on something for this, though.
I 'm having a problem getting stained trees to spawn. They're enabled in project red configs, but they're not generating in worlds (ATG or default) and NEI isn't even showing them or any other stained tree-related block to exist.
The mods I'm using are:
Treecapitator, ATG, BattleTowers (which doesn't seem to be working), Biomes O' Plenty, buildcraft, Dynamic Lights, Ender Storage, Ex Nihilo, immibis microblocks, ironchest, MapWriter, Natura, NEI, OpenEye, Optifine, ProjectRED (all modules), Tinkers' Construct, Tinkers' Mechworks, and tinycarts.
EDIT:
I tested with no content-adding mods (just library mods, OpenEye, Optifine, and NEI) save for ProjectRED, there were still no stained saplings despite them being enabled in config.
what's gonna happen to project red when eloraam brings back redpower?
I kind of hope that Eloraam decides to just become one of the bigger contributors for Project: Red, and make her mod open source so the Project: Red Team will have an easier time replicating features. I mean, while she did create the original mod, every mod that has Multipart support uses the Project: Red version. I kind of doubt that every mod that has Multipart support will automatically be rushing over to RedPower to change their API. They'll probably keep the Project: Red support, and either make Redpower support optional, or just refuse to support it.

i hope that project red won't immediately die off. in my opinion, its 10 times better then redpower. and i really hope eloraam gets rid of that useless blutricity system...
For those of you speculating what Eloraam will do, as word has gotten out that indeed Eloraam is back and coding RP3 and it will be becoming soon, please do check the twitter account. It is clearly stated Eloraam will not be seeking to persecute people for taking Redpower and building likenesses of it, although there is a limitation. Clearly any mods that provide similar function will not be targeted and modpacks are now open to use Redpower, however Project Red will probably be the only thing that will be asked to close down. It is a direct copy and direct attempt to continue Redpower due to Eloraam's large absence and is essential Redpower itself. The improvements, slight changes, and minor tweaks still provide the feel of Redpower. And Eloraam has clearly stated mods with similar function and look will not be an issue, however those that create the same effect, the same feel, will be. Face the facts, Project Red won't be around if Eloraam finishes RP3 (which with the new support is more likely than previous attempts). Project Red is an attempt to pull Redpower through, and it is, without much concealment, Redpower itself.

This post I feel the need to point of for it's a clear sign of ignorance to the entire situation.
Eloraam made Redpower, and will not join another project that simply continued the mod fully against the copyright, and as of now is still against the "modified verbal twitter copyright". If anything, Project Red staff should be joining Eloraam, however doubtful as privacy is a priority. Also, your reasoning as to why Eloraam should join, for the shear lack of people not wanting to port, is absurd. Eloraam will always provide the better code, for the original creator will know what's better. And may I remind you that Eloraam is a founder of Forge, the current universal modding basis, and contributed many (you would not believe the number) of hooks still currently inside the Forge code, despite inactivity for a long while. And if people should refuse to support one of Minecraft's modding legends (among those like Risugami), they would probably lose the respect of half the community and could potential join the Forge blacklist, thus ending their modding career. Take it from someone who has been around for a while, Eloraam is one of the few people in Minecraft that one can say is to Minecraft Modification as Edison is to the light-bulb.
well, considering that all the code in project red is their own, and it does not add either the mobile frames, nor the bluetricity system / subsequent machines, nor the "computer" system, it is different enough that she cannot say it is a full direct copy.
Then there is also the fact that project red is already updated to 1.7.10, and redpower is still in development.
And as far as legality goes, she could try to push something, but the fact that mojang owns minecraft, and she does not, would get anything she tries thrown out of court. Not to mention the fact that her tying to do so, would be sending the message to any future modder that if you have an idea that ends up close to another's, it's not worth it. Which could kill off any new people getting into modding. Taking that into account, I highly doubt that the forge programmers would back her actions.
And my closing thoughts, it shows nothing but arrogance on her part to think that leaving the modding community for years would not result in others recreating the content of what was one of the most popular mods.

Edit* Seems like Project Red and TiC are running fine together after removing Necromancy so can probably safely ignore this.
