To be honest, it really depends on where the game goes from here. Some changes happened in 1.6 that wound up putting me off, and I haven't felt like playing lately. I've watched the bug trackers, twitter, and other sources and seen no indication that these issues are going to be addressed.
Honestly I'm feeling like I may as well wait for 1.7 and see how things go.

I'm using forge version, and the dungeon also generates in nether other than overworld (haven't check The End), and it overlaps nether fortress.
Is this intended?

Nope. It's just something about how the world gen hook works in forge that I didn't know about.
When you update, will you update the Forge version too?

When you update, will the Forge version still have to be installed into the jar, or will you make it so Forge can load it from the mods folder, like most Forge mods?

Well this is news to me. I just put the zip file in my mods directory and it works. I thought that was half the point of using forge.
I've put this project on GitHub (sans mojang/forge code). I should explain that this is just the source code of the general class files. If you want to try to build an implementation then you'll still need to know how to patch it into the minecraft codebase, or implement the forge related class files.
It's mostly there as a backup and in case anyone's curious how something works.
Making the codebase public is, as far as i'm concerned, permission to use the code, or to share it. Please don't ask for my permission again to use parts of it. On the other hand, please don't ask me how it works either.
Hey this mod looks amazing, I finally went to download it today and I'm running into two problems! First I tried to install it in the client as recommended, and I get this error:

I've adapted the forge version for now to not alter spawned mobs. I'm considering trying the mod with infernal mobs and seeing how it plays. It's very difficult for me to anticipate what other mods people would combine it with. so it may be a wise design choice to tread lightly.
Unfortunately it does make the forge version much easier than the basic jar mod version.
this, idk why but it's probably because of the "rogue" part of the file name, many viruses are tagged rogue.
Now to start the hunt to find one of these dungeons :/
false positives are part of using antivirus. Of course if you want to double check something you could always upload the file to one of those sites that scans with all the antivirus around.

I love Playing Modded MineCraft. but it gets boring because most of the Modded Packs or servers are just designed for you to get uber automation and build exciting works of art. I am not a Fan of building works of Art. i like semi-automation where i still interact with parts of production. What i do enjoy is the Idea of Dungeon crawling as a Spellcaster with my IRL buddy. which is why i made a Private ModPack. and when i saw that BetterDungeons was not 1.6.X you were the top of my Google Search and i instantly fell in Love.
I also want to state i am very much Appreciated to your painstaking writing for Forge, not to make my life easier, but so i can run around using ArsMagica(when they release it for 1.6) I am a Caster at heart, regardless of the game i roll the Caster in a general since with somedeviations here and there. And making this Mod a Forge Mod makes me very happy in the since that I can Grab a Magic Mod(currently Minegicka) and run around throwing spells at my Enemy xD
Just a Note to make your world easier, Maybe Try to get in Touch with DireWolf20? he plays on the ForgeCraft Server which is the Forge Modders Playground for the main Devs of ForgeCraft and Forge Mods. He might be Able to hook you up with other Devs and they can help you out with your Forge Questions? I bet those guys would love to tromp through your dungeons lol.

Well after reading through the thread and seeing posts about what people played and reasoning for the constant Forge Requests i figured i would give an explaination for my reasoning. Instead of posting more stupid questions lol. I just popped on here to look up to make sure i am using the syntax of /dungeon correctly. I was trying to do a World Gen that was not Dungeon cluttered in the immediate area. So i removed the Mod from my Mods folder created a World(Biomes O' Plenty) and flew around in Creative so i could generate terrain in a 500-600m radius from Spawn. then i Exited and added the MOD back in and booted it back up. when i type /dungeon x z (obviously using the X and Z coords not the letters) it says its wrong so i was checking Syntax/Spelling.

Ugh, its not working now... i been playing this for the past day on and off with no problems... I am still refining my ModPack so i make new SPs here and there. this time trying it this way the Dungeon MOD did not work. i previously spawned a Biomes O' Plenty Map and it spawned the dungeons just fine. damnit... Been having Issues with NEI as well so i decided i am going to mess with it tomorrow and download a couple fresh copies of some of the MODs. its 2:15am and this cold has made my head congested so concentration and troubleshooting(my Expertise) is relatively difficult ATM.

Looks like your jar file is corrupted or something. Could be any number of reasons for that to happen though.
My webserver is down due to storms. hope to have it back up later today.
