It won't do automaticallly? I'm using the technic launcher and have my own modpack I use with my kids and their cousins... Getting them all to find the com folder and look for the file/folder is going to be sticky...
You can delete it manually or just download the new installer and run it. That's how it works for all other tweak mods as well, since the launcher doesn't support updates. Forge, FML, Optifine, ShadersMod, all require you to re-download and re-run the installer, and those mods don't support the handy "delete it and let it auto-download" functionality which liteloader does, so why is this such a chore compared to every other tweak which uses the same method?
i installed liteloader but when i start the launcher the dev console give me this error:

Hey, I'm probably doing something wrong, but I followed the written tutorial and the video, but I still seem to be getting some errors in the Liteloader project under Java/Client... Here's the stacktrace it's giving me on run:
There's a bunch more errors in most of the Gui package classes, and then one in GameEngineClient, LoadingBar (as seen here above) and one more in ModUtilities
Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong, or if it's just a bug in LiteLoader stuff?
Because of some derp with MCP for 1.7.10, you need to follow the steps in this README.md when decompiling. If you've already decompiled (which you must have if you followed the tutorial) then first run cleanup.bat to delete all the current decompiled resources, then follow the steps in that tutorial to update the configs, and finally run decompile.bat again to decompile using the updated configs.
Go download a new bootstrap from https://minecraft.net/download then, it's possible that your bootstrap is so out of date that it's not even updating the launcher properly.
I'm having troubles with Voxelmap not working properly. Minecraft loads properly and I can play the game but the map doesn't even show up. How do I fix this problem?

Post the log. Open the liteloader panel and press F3, then upload the log.
maybe i understood the answer of the problem but i won't like it.
I don't have original version, i use a cracked launcher. If this is the problem, is there a where a way to get liteloader? maybe installing it with forge?
When recompiling with ant I get an error that says command line too long, would I have to split everything up within other projects and recompile it from there or what?
where do i find voxel menu i dont even know if its updated but i can not find it anywhere can some one point me to it? any help would be nice

Can you post the actual log. There shouldn't be any need to split things up any more than just having your own code in its own project. However, if you've created your MCP workspace in a very deep directory (like putting it in your "My Documents" or several levels deep under that folder) then it's possible that it could run out of space. Hi, I'm trying to run ForgeMultipart along with LiteLoader. It crashes on startup, seemingly because of a missing call to a Scala function. Edit: Forgot to mention, running from the Forge profile does not result in this error, only when I run from the LiteLoader profile. Here's the crash report:

I've been trying to run Liteloader (with forge) and it keeps crashing.

Want an easier option?
Make yourself a batch file containing and put it on a memory stick, then just run it on your kids and cousins computers when you need to update.
You have a really out-of-date launcher, go into .minecraft and delete launcher.jar and launcher.pack.lzma to force an update.
Post the log. Open the liteloader panel and press F3, then upload the log.
No. Go buy the game.
