You won't find a jar file because LiteLoader uses inheritance now and only needs a json that points to the 1.8 vanilla jar, so it sounds like you're doing it fine. If all you need is WorldEdit, that doesn't require a jar so you should be good to go.
Oh, I forgot to mention I use Magic Launcher. But as I said in the edit above, I found a way to fix it.

Mumfrey, I was installing the LiteLoader dev. build on my Intellij, to create a mod, and when I run the debug, lots of errors are shown, saying that some packages/classes don't exist.
If you want, I can PM you the error log, because it contains some private information about my PC.

I have done that, and when I launch the LiteLoader client, to test, it says that some packages don't exist.
If that helps, when I imported the LiteLoader module, all of the dependencies were red. I started a new project, tried again, following your tutorial and the README, and still, all the dependencies are red.

Put liteloader in the mods folder. You can't put it on the server because it's not a server mod.
I have Minecraft 1.8 and I would like to download your API(?) and use it but I do not know if your current version(1.7.10) will work for it. I did notice that you have snapshots(whatever that means) of the installer for 1.8. I would like to know If the one 1.7.10 version would work for my current version or if I should install one of the unstable snapshots or if I should wait until a stable version comes out. Thanks
how would i go about running lite loader for 1.8 in the multiMC launcher? (i like multiMC more than the normal launcher) i have it installed as a .JAR mod i am confused because its not running! although optifine is any ideas?

I made a Feed The Beast modpack! Simply type "Experiment812390" without quotes into the 3rD party codes area and you can see the mods list and install!

How do I install 1.8 version using MultiMC? Tried adding liteloader-1.8 to the jar mods list but it doesn't seem to work.
That's because it's not a jar mod. You also need to add a tweak argument. In your instance's patches folder, create a file named "com.mumfrey.liteloader.json" with the contents of this: http://pastebin.com/JBQukU9P
Ok, I tried it and it works with just Liteloader and Forge, but it doesn't seem to work with Liteloader, Forge, and MCPatcher. With version 1.7.10_02, I would install Forge, then Liteloader (chained to Forge), then add on MCPatcher to that. Now, however, The LL+Forge install doesn't show up as an option when running MCP. I can install MCP with Forge first, then add LL to that, but when I run the game, the MCPatcher features don't work.

Added the patch to my instance, the instance was labeled as "broken". Removed the patch and the instance is now labeled as working. ?
So,using the team extreme launcher - Installed liteloader 1.8,following the instructions and when I click Start, nothing happens.Installed Forge 1.8 - clicking Start, the launcher just restarts...tried the pointless stuff with the profiles - still the same.
Anybody can help me?
Most launchers haven't updated to use inheriting which is what Liteloader uses. The only launchers Mumfrey provides support for are the default one and MultiMC

You need to read the README.
