This mod is ideal for games that require players to hide, create secret entrances, secret switches, etc. It adds a block that camouflages as other blocks and emits a redstone signal only when clicked on specific areas.
Place the mod file in your mods folder (coremods folder if on Minecraft 1.5.2 and up)
NOTES
As of version 1.1.3, this mod no longer supports mod blocks to prioritize vanilla blocks. So, if you have already created pressure point blocks with mod blocks, they will no longer work. Just to be safe, I recommend loading your worlds and getting rid of all the pressure point blocks made from mod blocks before you update to the new version.

DETAILS
FEATURES
The pressure point blocks use textures of other blocks; they have no textures of their own
Right-click them with redstone dust to set a pressure point (1x1). You can set up to two (2) pressure points for each side.
Only you will be able to set pressure points for blocks you placed down (unless it is toggled in the config). If the config is set to allow other players to change your block's pressure points, the block becomes theirs once they do.
Right-click with a redstone torch to set larger (2x2) pressure points
Pressure points can be set for all sides of the block
After setting the pressure point, clicking on that same point will activate the block, making it give off a redstone signal. Even though other players cannot see or change the pressure points of your block, they will be able to activate the block if they know where the pressure point is.
Clicking anywhere else will do nothing
You can still place redstone dust or torches on the block by sneak-clicking on it
Initially, they act like buttons (only providing power for about a second every time you click it), but right-clicking it with a lever will toggle its behavior so that it will act like a lever instead (continuously provides power until it's clicked again)
The pressure point block will copy certain qualities of the block it's posing as; one of which is how hard it is. So, if you craft an obsidian pressure point block, it'll be difficult to mine unless you're using a diamond pickaxe or something stronger. If you craft a bedrock pressure point block, it will be unbreakable unless you're on creative mode.
Pressure points can be removed by right-clicking the block with the pressure point tool. There are three (3) ways to remove pressure points:
Right-click on a pressure point to remove that particular pressure point
Right-click on the face of the block to remove all the pressure points on that side
Right-click while sneaking to remove all the pressure points at once
By default, players cannot remove pressure points (you can change it in the config).
If you forget where you set the pressure point, you can toggle Minecraft's debug screen (press f3) and markers for the pressure points will appear; or you can always set a new pressure point by right-clicking it with redstone dust or a redstone torch. Only the owner of the block will be able to see the markers for that particular block.
You can find all possible pressure point blocks in the pressure point blocks tab.
Looks really cool, but I think some kind of door system needs to be included, another mod added doors and blocks that changed to the texture below them.
wow, incredible mod, there was already secret room that added secret button/lever but these were too easy to detect, yours is mostly undetectable, good job
edit : I'm pretty sure that the pressure point size don't depend on texture pack resolution so maybee you could add someting in the config to change it's size
only two post in a day, really?!
your mod need to be more known, why don't you make a banner?
thanks! i'm aware that the size doesn't depend on the texture pack. making a config option for that would be impractical since texture packs can have resolutions like 128x128 and that would make the pixel preeeettyy small. also, different people would be using different texture packs so it would be confusing to not have a standard sized pressure point.
i don't make banners because...... well.... i don't know. lol. lazy.

thanks but regarding the doors, maybe some other time if i feel like it. i don't really plan on making this a complex mod. i already like it the way it is; it's simple.
How about making it so that you can put more than 1 pressure point on one side or so that you can make larger pressure points than 1 pixel?
I can't remove pressure points
if you're using v1.0.1, change the settings in the config to enable removing pressure points. if you're using 1.0.0 upgrade to 1.0.1. i'll see about adding those in the future right now, updating this really isn't my priority

actually, the more i think about it, the more i like the idea of expanding the types of blocks. i think i'll be adding in doors in future updates
1.0.2
Yay!
This might be difficult but how about making so that you can set a special item to a pressure point, making it like a key?
pretty easy to do actually but isn't it hard enough to look for the pressure point? lol. also, in response to your old post, you can now make mossy cobblestone, cracked stone bricks, etc.

thanks! added some details i forgot to put. check it out!:)
as of now, blocks with metadata above 0 are not supported. i'll try and add them in the next update
