First of all, I've been reading these comments and some people have been telling others that the Aether II is not compatible with world generation mods. I am running a small private server for my friends and I to play on and I have not had any problems with the ExtraBiomes mod. As long as that world generation mod does not alter the generation of every world, I think your Aether world will be fine.
As for other mod compatibility, the Aether II should naturally be compatible with every other Forge mod. Here is a list of what I've gotten it to be compatible with:

I installed all of those without a single problem, and I didn't even have to change the configuration. If you can't install these, then you're doing it wrong It's a drag and drop process.
I found a Swet Cape in a dungeon chest, but it doesn't seem to be attached correctly. However, it seems to be a compatibility problem with Smart Moving, as turning that off fixed the problem. I think it has something to do with both Smart Moving and Aether using Player API, but I'm not entirely sure.
I run my server at 4gb of ram, and on the same pc I have 3gb of ram dedicated to the client. I obviously can't see the lag, but my friends complain when we're generating new chunks
Apparently. I defeated a miniboss, and my key counter went up. When I got back to the door, it said I needed three more keys to enter.
Unless there's another method to getting keys, four minibosses is all I can see.
God, those things are annoying. There seem to be 10 traps in every room.
My least favorite would be what I think are called Tracking Golems. That eerie noise, the nausea effect, and the way you can't look away from it... It's awfully annoying.
Yeah, the Golem thing-ys are definitely annoying. But as for the Sentries, I just sprint and hop, so it decreases the chance of them popping up, and when they do, I'm already 10 meters away from them. When they pile up, I just attack all of them at once.Oh yeah, and healing stones help a whole lot!
That means Minecraft is running out of memory. But if you're running on 64bit you should have plenty... Do you have any crash logs in the same place as the Minecraft launcher or in your .minecraft directory? If so, please post them.

No it wont. where are you getting this information? There has been no information or release dates and no pre-release as there always is about a week or 2 before a major update.
it says on the minecraft launcher that 1.6 will be out in a week

Yeah it's what I thought. I can't find any accurate information on how to enable minidumps.
I'm really tempted to try shaders with Aether. I'm not sure if they're compatible though.
