Hey Aether Guys I Love your Mod! But one thing, can you try to make it compatible with Galacticraft, because i'm doing Minecraft Youtube Series and i want to add your mod, but its not compatible with my other mods.
Can someone who got this mod working with MCPC+ help me out? I've been trying for the last week now with no luck. BukkitForge is really not working well for me. Thanks in advance!
Since I have a dozen of mods on my server, I use IDResolver to reorganize the map of block ID, in order to avoid ID conflicts. Then I find the Alpha 1.0.2 is not compatible with IDResolver. Possibly the world generation procedures are binded with original IDs of blocks from the Aether II. IDResolver has reassigned the IDs of these blocks, thus the Aether dimension is contructed with blocks from other mods.
Hope you could fix this soon, cuz the Aether II is the first and last fantastic mod we want to play.
Thank you so much for this! I had given up hope that there would ever be a remake. the last aether mod was so fantastic! If a little buggy. Gana download now and give it a play!
EDIT: Sorry for making a long report about how my minecraft crashed. My problem was that I was using a different version of forge. So if your minecraft is crashing, make sure that you downloaded the forge, player API, and render player API on THIS FORUM. Anyways, i'm playing aether II right now and it is just PURELY awesome!
Is there a crafting recipe list somewhere? I hope they get a lagfix out soon, this is getting insane!
I agree for both. when will you show the crafting recipe list? and the mod uses up too much RAM memory too in-game (average 400 mb in normal render in vanilla and over 700 mb with aether and max available RAM for me is 760mb D: ) causing me a huge fps lag spike every second even if I reduce the render distance. even the nether is slightly less buggier than the aether.
I had a world, but I encountered severe issues after I used a continuum orb. I had right clicked with it, and immediately left clicked by accident. Now when I try to load the world it will immediately crash my game, so I feel the world may be corrupted. I narrowed it down to the actual level.dat file being the problem, and nothing else. Does anyone know a fix for this? I'm very much in distress and I just want my world back.
Continuum orbs have a bug that can crash your game and make your world un-usable. Happened to me... I don't think there's a way to bring your world back besides uninstalling the Aether 2 mod
still there should be a nother way to donat... i mean surusly!i didi had the cape it only lets you do 2 flaps and then u glide itsso hard to get and u GLIDE you should if pressing space flap for how ever long u want
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; Failed to start game

You are running forge build 611. The recommended build is 679, change that and you might have better luck. You can get forge versions from here: http://files.minecraftforge.net/
Also I find, the aether mod to be very sensitive, so if you are installing any other mods make sure you put aether mod in last. I had problems taking mods in and out with aether installed. Just a tip. good luck and have fun
Always wanted to try this mod, installed the right way....but whenever i opened mc, it came up with this? can someone please tell me what this is? ive been trying forever, on multiple computers to get Aether II to work.... but this keeps happening, and i cant open minecraft at all. It Says:
FML is setting up your minecraft environment.
Please wait, FML has some tasks to do before you can play.
and like, ive been waiting an hour or so. still at 0%. Help?!? D:
I can't wait to try out this mod but I have one problem...I don't have 1.5.1 I updated before this mod came out. Which adds to a problem that I do have with this mod. I love it, don't get me wrong and I also understand that mods are very time consuming but as someone who is a very big fan of this mod I don't appreciate it when after a year and a half of waiting for this mod to come out that it is out of date from the actual program itself. I will try to find someone who still has 1.5.1 but if I don't then I won't be coming back to keep up with the Aether Mod I find it very disappointing when a very good mod is constantly out of my reach. Please don't take what I have to say personally as I am not trying to sound like one of those ridiculous people who are always demanding. Either way good luck with your mod I know it is the best around.
After waiting over a year and a half, I finally have been able to see and experience one of the best mods for MC in the community. I have some observations and feedback. Let me know if there are more appropriate places for it, but this is the only place I can see right now where it can be posted.
First, I have been able to run a local LAN game (from single player, then opened a LAN game) with the following mods:
- Mo Creatures
- NEI
- Rei's Minimap
- Twilight Forest
- Aether II
This was built into a MultiMC instance to make things easier, and it incorporates all the 1.5.1 compatible versions of Forge, etc.
I have been able to sucessfully run NEI in-game, though you can only access the NEI menu system through chest/crafting inventory screens, not your own personal inventory screen, as AetherII modified it.
The biggest issue I have been experiencing in-game is that certain mobs over-spawn in the game, and to make sure it wasn't Mo Creatures, I disabled it for a time, then tested the same area again (often setting the game in and out of peaceful mode to reset spawns).
Especially in the Aether, too many Zephyrs and Cockatrices seem to spawn, often mob capping the game and preventing the other mobs to spawn. It seems similar to the old 1.02 alpha of Aether with the Aerwhales' overspawning problems.
I tried using the CustomMobSpawner tweaks in Mo Creatures to somehow limit the spawning rates of these two mobs, but even when I supposedly turned the rates to 0, min/max to 1 mob per spawn event, they still spawned enough to eventually overpower an area if you sat for 5-10 minutes (like while typing this message). Turning off Mo Creatures and its Custom MobSpawner feature only made the problem worse.
This is the biggest problem I see so far, but I'll continue testing with a vanilla build and just the aetherII installed and see if I can observe the same problem. It's possible it's just some spawn code conflicting between one or more mods I have listed above.
If anyone else can provide some feedback, please let me know. I will say I TL;DR'd the 88 previous pages of forum posts, so if I missed something important, please link me there.
Hey, have a problem guys. When i wan't to join a Aether II Server it says:
"Forge Modloader has found some ID mismatches
Complete details are in the log file
ID 4048 from Mod Aether II is missing
ID 4049 -..-
ID 4043 -..-
ID 4042 -..-
ID 4041 -..-
ID 4040 -..-
ID 4035 is mismatched between world and game
ID 4039 -..-
ID 4038 -..-
ID 4037 -..-
ID 4036 -..-
ID 4047 -..-
ID 4046 -..-
ID 4045 -..-
ID 4044 -..-
You cannot connect to this server"
Does someone have a idea what this is?
Did you remove a mod? If so, that's likely the entity IDs of the items that had dependencies of the now-uninstalled mod. The other possibility is that the server made some ID changes and you may need to find that server's page to see what patches you'd need to apply to synch up. Other than that, I'm stumped.

You have to install forge on a fresh/clean jar. After installing the proper version of forge(679) correctly, you must run the game once to let forge set up and create needed folders. Once you get to minecraft home screen just quit game, now you can add your desired mods.

download MultiMC (just google it) you can have any version of MC you want at your finger tips. Just create an instance and give it a name!!!

Would be pleased if you added me to the videos section, as I take alot of my time on this.
